Eligibility Criteria for Goa PSC Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Associate Professor in Neurology - A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least four years teaching/research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institute after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
2. Assistant Professor in Optometry in Allied Health Science Courses - Masters degree in Optometry from a recognised University. (ii) Minimum three years teaching experience in concerned speciality. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
3. Assistant Lecturer in Forensic Medicine - A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
4. Lecturer in Medical Imaging Technology - Master of Science in Medical Imaging Technology from a recognised University. (ii) Minimum one year teaching experience in concerned speciality. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
5. Junior Paediatrician - A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Central Act 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Central Act 102 of 1956). (ii) Post Graduate Degree (M.D. in Paediatrics) failing which Diploma in Paediatrics. (iii) Specialization in Development and Behavioural Paediatrics. (iv) Minimum one year experience of working connected with the speciality concerned after specialization in Development and Behavioural Paediatrics. (v) Knowledge of Konkani.
6. Assistant Professor - Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
7. Assistant Director of Tourism - Degree in Tourism/Hotel Management/Hospitality, from a recognised University. (ii) Six years work experience in Hotel/Tourism Industries. (iii) Knowledge of History and culture of India and must be familiar with places of Tourist interest in India, in general and Goa in particular. (iv) Computer literate. (v) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Foreign languages other than English language, preferably French, German or Russian. (ii) Masters Degree in Tourism/Hospitality, from a recognised University. (iii) MBA/PGDBM/PGDM, from a recognised University. (iv) Knowledge of Marathi.
8. Assistant Geologist - M. Sc. Degree in Geology from a recognised University OR (i) Diploma in Allied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or its equivalent. (ii) 3 years experience in the field. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
9. Child Development Project Officer/Social Welfare Officer – Master’s degree in Social Service/Social Welfare/Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Home Science with Nutrition or Child development as a subject from a recognised University or equivalent. OR Degree in Social Service/Social Welfare/Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Home Science with Nutrition or Child development as a subject from a recognised University or equivalent, with 2 years experience in social work in any Social Welfare Organisation. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
10. Commercial Tax Officer - Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, preferably in Commerce or Economics. (ii) Associates Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants OR 3 years experience in commercial accounts in a Government or a Semi-Government Organisation or in a Commercial or Banking firm or in a firm of Chartered Accountants. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
