Eligibility Criteria for Bharathiar University Registrar, COE:
As per the recent Bharathiar University notification 2018, the eligibility details like Educational Qualification & Age Limit for the Registrar, COE job has given below.
Educational Qualification:

a. Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
b. Atleast 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration or
c. Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of Higher Education, or
 d. 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
e. Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying official correspondence.
Controller of Examinations
1. A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
2. Atleast 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Sr. Scale)/Lecturer (Assistant Professor) with eight years in Reader’s (Associate Professor) grade with experience in educational administration.
(or)
Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of Higher Education.
(or)
15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
The appointment will be on tenure basis for a period of 3 years in the first instance. The age of superannuation for the post is 58 years.
Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying out official correspondence and drafting reports.
Dean
An eminent scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and/or experience in research of the University/National Level institutions, including experience of guiding research of doctoral level. (Or) An outstanding scholar with an established reputation, who has made significant contribution to education (Or) In exceptional cases, the teachers with 15 years of UG teaching/research experience could also be considered.
Director
i) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale.
ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor or its equivalent cadre along with experience in educational administration. (or)
iii) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, (or)
iv) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
v) Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying official correspondence.
Public Relations Officer
Essential: “Good academic record plus Master‟s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale”.
Relaxation applicable as per the Govt./UGC norms.
Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development or Distance Education/Degree or Diploma in Public Relations of a recognized University / Institution.
Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying out official correspondence and drafting reports.

Bharathiar University may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Interview

Application Fee/Exam Fee: 
Filled in application together with Registration fee including application fee of Rs.600/- for general category and Rs.300/- for OBC/SC/ST in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore should be sent on or before 08.11.2018.

Step 8: Application from candidates, who are in service, should be sent through proper channel. If they anticipate any delay, they may send 04 advance copies to the Registrar. However, their application will be considered and they will be called for interview only if their applications forwarded through proper channel are received in time.
