Assistant Geophysicist
Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute or BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.
5.
Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Cardiology)
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Double Post-Graduation i.e. basic essential M.D./ M.S. along with M.Ch. or D.M. in the speciality mentioned in Schedule II i.e. D.M. (Cardiology) from a recognized University or equivalent.
 Experience Two years’ working experience after obtaining the first post graduate degree of M.S. or M.D.
6.
Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Cardio-thoracic Surgery)
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
 (ii) Double Post-Graduation i.e. basic essential M.D./ M.S. along with M.Ch. or D.M. in the speciality mentioned in Schedule II i.e. M.Ch. (Cardio-thoracic Surgery)/ M.Ch. (Thoracic Surgery) from a recognized University or Speciality Board of Thoracic Surgery (USA) or equivalent.
Experience Two years’ working experience after obtaining the first post graduate degree of M.S. or M.D.
7.
Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Cancer Surgery)
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Double Post-Graduation i.e. basic essential M.D./ M.S. along with M.Ch. or D.M. in the speciality mentioned in Schedule II i.e. M.Ch. (Cancer Surgery/ Surgical Oncology) from a recognized University or equivalent.
(iii) Experience Two years’ working experience after obtaining the first post graduate degree of M.S. or M.D.
8.
System Analyst
(i) Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc. Computer Science or M.Sc. Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
EXPERIENCE Three years post qualification experience in actual software development using PHP or JAVA or ASP.Net and having experience in database such as MYSQL or SQL or ORACLE or POSTGRES data base in a Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous organization or from any recognized Institution.
9.
Specialist Grade III (Microbiology/Bacteriology)
(i) A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D. (Bacteriology)/MD (Microbiology)/ MBBS with M.Sc (Medical Bacteriology)/M.Sc. (Medical Microbiology) /Ph.D. (Medical Bacteriology)/M. Sc. (Medical Bacteriology) with Ph. D. (Medical Bacteriology) / M.Sc.(Medical Microbiology) with D. Sc. (Medical Microbiology)/D. (Bacteriology)/DPB.
(iii) Experience Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree or 5 years experience after obtaining the Post Graduate diploma.
 Note 1 M.R.C.P. /F.R.C.P., F.R.C.S. refers to Diploma or Membership and Fellowship awarded by all the Royal College of U.K. and Fellowship of Royal College of U.K. and Fellowship of Royal College of Canada.
10.
Specialist Grade III (Nephrology)
(i) A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the concerned super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. DM (Nephrology).
EXPERIENCE Three years’ experience in the concerned discipline after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree.
11.
Specialist Grade III (Urology)
(i) A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

UPSC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Interview

Application Fee/Exam Fee: 
(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
(b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
