Eligibility Criteria for CGCRI Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification:

1.	Project Assistant	B.Sc. in Physics with Electronics as one of the subjects Or 3 Yrs. Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Desirable: At least 1-year experience in the field of fiber optic sensors and hands on experience on fiber Bragg grating fabrication and characterization. Age : 50 years The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates with validity of certificate)
2.	Project Associate-II	M.Sc. in Photonics/Biomedical Instrumentation with 2 Yrs experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisation and Scientific activities and services Or BE/B.Tech. in Instrumentation with 2 yrs experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisation and Scientific activities and services Desirable” 2 years’ experience in the field of fiber optic sensors. Age : 35 years The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates with validity of certificate)
3.	Project Associate-II	BE/B.Tech. in Instrumentation with 2 yrs experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisation and Scientific activities and services Desirable” At least 2 years’ experience in the field of process control and instrumentation with hands on experience on multichannel strain and temperature data logging systems. Age : 35 years The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates with validity of certificate)
4.	Sr. Project Associate	M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry with 4 years experience in the relevant field Or Ph.D in Science/Engg./Tech/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent 4 Years experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. Candidates having experience in gas sensors will be preferred. Age: 40 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates with validity of certificate)
5.	Junior Research Fellow	B.E./B.Tech/ ME/M.Tech in Chemical Engg/Chemical Technology/Ceramic Tech./Material Engg/ Nano Science/Tech. or equivalent with NET/GATE* Or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/Analytical/Applied) with NET/GATE* Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st Class Degree with some research experience in the respective field. Age: 28 Years The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped/Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates). *Scholars who are selected through NET - CGCRI-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE
6.	Project Associate-I	M.Sc. in Bio-Technology Or B.E/B.Tech. in Bio-technology Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st Class Degree with some research experience in the respective field. Age: 35 Years The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped/Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates).

Salary Details:

4.	Sr. Project Associate	Rs.42,000/- + HRA as admissible p.m
5.	Junior Research Fellow	Stipend - Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (24%) p.m
6.	Project Associate-I	Stipend - Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (24%) p.m
