Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professor) and GATE

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT., DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

- Sound fundamental knowledge in Civil Engineering, preferably in Construction Materials and Structural Engineering.

- Strong record in experimental work.

- Strong communication skills (oral & written)

Note: Selected candidate will have to work on Deputation at IIT Palakkad for a considerable period of appointment.
