Eligibility Criteria for IMSc Chennai Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification:

Qualification

Candidate should have Masters degree in Computer Science, Theoretical Computer Science, or Information Technology from a reputed institute. Knowledge of network/graph theory and programming languages such as Python and C++, web development and database management is essential.

DESIRABLE Specific requirements for the position The selected candidate will work with the head of the partner group (Dr. Areejit Samal) on a project funded by the Max Planck Society and to be carried out in close collaboration with researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, Gerrnany. A major goal of this project is to analyze large and complex biological networks, and we are looking for candidates with track record in network/graph theory and computer programming. Knowledge of network theory and programming in Python and C++, web development and database management are essential. Prior research experience along with handling of biological datasets is desirable.
