Eligibility Criteria for NIS Chennai Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification:

1.	Professor –PothuMaruthuvam	1. Post Graduate Degree in Siddha in the concerned subject recognised under IMCC Act, 1970 2. Five years of teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned subject or 5 years Research Experience in PB –III (Rs.15,600 – 39,100) with GP Rs.7,600/- with NPA OR 15 years combined experience in teaching as Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject or 15 years Research Experience in the pay scale of PB –III (Rs.15,600 -39,100) with GP of 7,600/-, Rs.6,600/- and Rs.5,400/- with NPA respectively out of which minimum 2 years in the pay scale of PB-III (Rs.15,600-39,100) with GP Rs.7,600/- with NPA. 3. Minimum five research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals.
2.	Resident Medical Officer	A minimum qualification of BSMS degree, with P.G Degree in Siddha or any basic medical science
3.	Emergency Medical Officer	A minimum qualification of BSMS degree, with P.G Degree in Siddha or any basic medical science
4.	House Officer	A minimum qualification of BSMS degree, with P.G Degree in Siddha or any basic medical science

NIS Chennai may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee:

1) The application form can be downloaded from our website www.nischennai.organd the cost of application is Rs.500/-.

2) The filled in application along with the application cost of Rs.500/- by way of DD drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Siddha payable at Chennai together with the self attested photocopies of the certificate/ testimonials should be submitted at the time of walk-in-interview. The candidates should report at 10.00 AM in the Admin Block of this Institute on 03.03.2021and the registration will be closed at 11.00 AM. Those who report thereafter will not be considered.

3) SC/ST and Physically disabled candidates are exempted from application fee provided that they should produce an attested copy of the community certificate and disability certificate respectively from the competent authority along with the application form to claim for application fee exemption.
