Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification:

2.	Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)	Educational: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Experience: Three years experience in planning, construction and execution of Civil Engineering Projects.
3.	Programmer Gr. A	EDUCATIONAL: Master’s Degree in Statistics / mathematics/Operations Research/Physics or Economics/Commerce (with Statistics) or degree in Engineering/Computer Science of a recognized University or equivalent. Note: Equivalent qualification may defined/mentioned is under:- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute. EXPERIENCE: Three years’ experience of electronics data processing work out of which atleast Two years’ experience should be in actual programming on an electronic computer. DESIRABLE: i) Formal training in Computer Programming /System design/analysis. ii) Knowledge of one or more programming languages (C++, Java, HTML, JavaScript/ C language).
4.	Public Prosecutor	EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Law of a recognized University. EXPERIENCE: Seven years practice at the Bar in conducting criminal cases.
5.	Assistant Public Prosecutor	EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Law of a recognized University.
6.	Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics)	EDUCATIONAL: Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent* Note : M. Sc. (Applied Physics) may be taken as equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the *relevant field
7.	Senior Scientific Officer (Biology)	EDUCATIONAL: Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Human Biology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University. EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field. Note: Experience in relevant field means experience of Research/Analytical methods therein in the field of Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Biology or Human Biology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology. ( EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in the field of Chemistry or Toxicology. DESIRABLE: (i) Doctorate Degree in concerned discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Three years experience in FSL/CFSLs.
9.	Senior Scientific Officer (Documents)	EDUCATIONAL: Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Computer Science or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry or Forensic Science or Computer Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent. Note- Equivalent qualification may be treated as NIL. OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent Note: Equivalent means B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology / Electronics & Communication Engineering / M.Sc. in Information Technology / Masters in Computer Application / Bachelor of Engineering in Electricals & Electronics / B.E. in Electronics & Instrumentation / M.Sc. in Cyber Security. UPSC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee:

(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
