Eligibility Criteria for Cochin Shipyard Limited Vacancy 2021:

Educational Qualification:

Faculty (Marine Chief Engineer) in Marine Engineering Training Institute (METI)	Educational Qualification: a) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Naval Architecture Engineering or equivalent. b) Should hold Certificate of Competency (issued or recognised by Government of India), as Master-Near Coastal Voyage (NCV) or Chief Mate Foreign Going (FG) or Chief Engineer NCV (MEO Class III) or Marine Engineer Officer (MEO Class II). Experience Essential:- Working/Sailing Experience as Chief Engineer on Indian/Foreign going ships for at least 3 years.
2.	Instructor (Marine Engineering)	Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education or equivalent Experience Essential:- Working/Sailing Experience as Chief Engineer on Indian/Foreign going ships for at least 3 years.
3.	Officer-in-Charge of Apprenticeship Training	Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education or equivalent. Experience Essential:- Experience as Inspector of Training/ Principal Class – I/ Vice Principal or Principal Class II/ Training Officer/ Trade Test Officer/ Group Instructor/ Junior Apprenticeship Advisor in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
