Qualifications:
- Chemical Process Worker - Matriculation + NAC/NTC issued by NCVT in the relevant trade
- Multi-Tasking Staff – Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognized Board or university or equivalent.
- Durwan - Matriculation (10th) Pass or equivalent
- Storekeeper - 10+2
- Lower Division Clerk - 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
- Supervisor (NT) - Degree in any subject from a recognized University
- Stenographer - 12th Standard + A speed of 80 (eighty) Words Per Minute in Stenography (English or Hindi)
- TGT Mathematics, TGT English, Social Science, Science - Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year B.A/B'.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed)
Age Limit:
- Chemical Process Worker Semi-Skilled (CPW 'SS'): Between 18 and 32 years
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Between 18 and 25 years of age
- Durwan: Not more than 27 years and not less than 20 years
- Storekeeper: Not exceeding 27 years and not less than 18 years
- Lower Division Clerk: Between 18 and 27 years
- Supervisor (Non-Technical): Not exceeding 27 years
- Stenographer: Between 18 to 27 years
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Not exceeding 30 years
Age
relaxations will be applicable as per the Government rules.
Pay Scale:
- Chemical Process Worker, MTS, Durwan : Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-
- Storekeeper, LDC: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-
- Supervisor & Stenographer: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-
- Trained Graduate Teacher: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- (Group 'B')
Selection Procedure: Written examination (100 marks) and Trade test,

Application Fee:
A Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank worth of
Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty Only) drawn in favour of The General Manager,
Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, payable at Coonoor or Udhagamandalam (Ooty) towards application fee should be submitted along
with application for each post separately. However, applicants belong to SC/ST
/PHP /Ex.SM are eligible for fee exemption. Candidates are required to write
their name and date of birth on the back side of the demand draft without fail.
