Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Translator (Burmese) - a) Bachelor’s degree in the Foreign Language concerned (BURMESE) with English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level from a recognized University. OR Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory or elective subject from a recognized University; and (b) Diploma in foreign language concerned (BURMESE) with interpretership or translation standard from a University or Institute recognized by Government of India.

2. Translator (Dari/Persian) - Bachelor’s degree in the Foreign Language concerned (Dari/Persian) with English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level from a recognized University. OR Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory or elective subject from a recognized University and b) Diploma in foreign language concerned (Dari/Persian) with interpretership or translation standard from a University or Institute recognized by Government of India.

3. Legal Officer (Grade-II) - i) Masters degree in Law with specialization in the field of International Law and/or International Relations or International Organizations from a recognized University. + 5 years experience, after obtaining minimum educational qualification in Legal Affairs, namely Legal Practitioner, in Legal service of the Government, teaching or conducting or guiding research in International Law or in the Law of International Organizations.

4. Public Prosecutor - (i) Degree in Law of a recognized University. (ii) Basic knowledge of word processing on computer and internet. + 7 years practice as an Advocate in conducting criminal cases or 7 years’ experience of State Judicial Service or Legal Department of State or Central Government.

5. Stores Officer - Degree in Engineering from a recognised University or Institute. OR Degree in Science with two years experience in Materials Management(procurement, maintenance of scientific and technical stores and equipments and inventory control).

6. Senior Lecturer (Textile Processing) - Degree in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognised University or Institute or Post Diploma in Textile Chemistry or Textile Processing from a recognised University or Institute. + Three years experience as a Lecturer in Textile Chemistry/Bleaching/Dyeing/Printing/Finishing in a recognised Institute or as a shift-in-charge in a dye house /Textile mill in wet processing/finishing/bleaching of textiles.

Age Limit:

5. Stores Officer - Rs 44,900-1, 42,400/-

6. Senior Lecturer (Textile Processing) - Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Rs. 5,400
