Eligibility
Criteria for UPSC Vacancy 2021:
Educational
Qualification:

1. Assistant
Director: EDUCATIONAL: Master’s Degree in Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic or
Organic or Analytical Chemistry or M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in
Soil Science or Agriculture Chemistry of a recognized University or Institute
recognized by the Central Government or State Government. EXPERIENCE: Three years’ experience in analytical work in the field of
fertilizers. DESIRABLE: (i) Doctorate degree in any of the subjects mentioned in the essential
educational qualifications from a recognized University or Institute, (ii)
Three years experience in the operation of modern equipments and tools used
in the analysis of fertilizers. |

2. Assistant
Director (Weed Science): EDUCATIONAL: M.Sc Degree in Agricultural (Agronomy) with specialization in Weed
Science or M.Sc Degree in Botany with Weed Science as a subject from a
recognized University or Institution. (B) EXPERIENCE: Three years practical experience in the field of Weed Science or Weed
Control. DESIRABLE: Doctorate degree in Agronomy with specialization in Weed Science from
a recognized University or Institution. |

Officer (Implementation): EDUCATIONAL:
Master’s degree of a recognised
University in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective subject or as the
medium of examination at the degree level; or Master’s degree of a recognised
University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as
the medium of examination at the degree level; or Master’s degree of a
recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi
medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an
examination at the degree level; or Master’s degree of a recognised
University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English medium and
Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination
at the degree level; or Master’s degree of a recognised University in any

4. Senior
Grade of Indian Information Service: EDUCATIONAL: (i) Degree of a recognized University or Institute; (ii) Diploma/Post
Graduate Diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication from a recognized
University/Institution; or Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from a
recognized University/Institute; (iii) Candidates must have studied concerned
Indian language upto 10th Class. Note: Direct recruitment to posts in Senior
Grade Indian Information Service Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) shall be made
language-wise. There shall be no category-wise/community-wise reservation for
any of the languages. One can apply for any number of languages and indicate

Fee/Exam Fee:
(a)
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only
either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net
banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
(b)
No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee
exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are
required to pay the full prescribed fee.
