UPSC Regional Director in National Centre of Organic Farming Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:  

1. Regional Director in National Centre of Organic Farming, Ghaziabad, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare - M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized University or Institute; or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University or Institute; or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute.

(B) EXPERIENCE: Possessing ten years experience in the field of research and development of bio-fertilizer and other aspects of organic farming with experience in quality control of biofertilizers and organic fertilizers including two years administrative experience.

2. Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (Technical)(DCIO/Tech) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) or B.Sc (Engg) awarded by a recognized University in the fields of Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics and Telecommunications or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or Software Engineering or Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers(AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Graduate Ship awarded by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE) in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering or Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications or Master of Computer Applications(MCA) after three years Bachelor of Science in Physics or Master of Science (Information Technology) or Master of Science (Computer Science) or Master of Science (Software) from a recognized University.

NOTE: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified

3. Assistant Professor (Chemistry), Integrated Headquarters of Navy, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defence - Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Chemistry from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. (ii) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.(iii) Candidate with PhD Degree awarded in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of PhD Degree) Regulation 2009 are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET. (iv) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Programmes in discipline for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

(B) EXPERIENCE: Two years practical experience in production or development or quality assurance in Electronic & Communications equipments.

DESIRABLE: Minimum six months certificate course in German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language from a recognized institute.

11. Junior Research Officer (Research, Statistics & Analysis) in Union Public Service Commission - (i) Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics or Applied Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics from a recognized University or Institute; or (ii) Master’s Degree in Economics or Sociology or Psychology or Commerce with Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduate level or Post Graduate level from a recognized University or Institute.

DESIRABLE: (a) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application awarded by any University or ‘A’ level Diploma under the Department of Electronics accredited computer course. Application Fee/Exam Fee for UPSC Regional Director in National Centre of Organic Farming: 

(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
