ICAR-DCFR Young Professional Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Young
Professional -II - Essential
Qualification : Post graduation in
Life science or Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or Graduate degree
holder in Engineering Technology/ Veterinary Science in relevant field Desirable : Experience in conventional PCR, handling of aquatic micro-organisms
and operation of Scientific Equipments. Candidates must be willing to travel
Frequently in high hill areas for sampling. Note: Candidates with ICAR/CSIR
/UGC NET will be given preference. |

2. Young
Professional -I – Essential
Qualification : Graduation or
diploma in life sciences/ B.F.Sc/ B. Sc in Basic sciences/ B. Tech in
Biotechnology Desirable : Working experience in handling fish pathogens, aquatic
micro-organisms, conventional PCR and operation of scientific Equipments. Note: Candidates must be willing to travel Frequently in high hill areas. |

Professional -II – Essential
Qualification : Master in Fisheries
Science / Zoology / Environmental Science Desirable
Experience : Research experience in
Aquaculture with working knowledge in fish maintenance, breeding, and
culture. Good working knowledge in computer, data processing and
interpretation of result Note: Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference. |

Professional -I - Essential
Qualification : Master in Fisheries Science / M.Sc. (Zoology) Desirable
Experience : Research experience in fisheries and aquaculture. Working
experience on histology and nutrient analysis will be preferred |

5. Young
Professional -II – Essential
Qualification : - Post Graduation in Fisheries Economics/ Agriculture Economics. Desirable : - Experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling - Good knowledge in taxonomy and biology of fishes - The candidate must be willing to travel frequently in high altitude
areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jummu & Kashmir and North East
India. - Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills - Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference. |

6. Young
Professional -I – Essential
Qualification : - B.F.Sc./B.Sc. in Fisheries Science/diploma in fisheries science Desirable : - Experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling - The candidate must be willing to travel frequently in high altitude

Age Limit: 21-45 years as on the date of closing of application. The Upper age limit
is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with
Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for
Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will
