THSTI Research Associate Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:

1. Project
Scientist-I - Minimum
Qualification and Experience: PhD degree in Biotechnology in any branch of
Life Sciences from a recognized University. At least one publication as first
author in a scientific journal Desirable
Qualification & Experience: Expertise in molecular biology and molecular biology, interpretation of
data based on review of literature and report writing required. |

2. Research
Associate I/II/III - Minimum
Qualification and Experience: PhD in Biomedical Sciences/ Pharmaceutical
Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Technology or equivalent from a recognized
University. The experience of the candidate should match from any one of the
below categories :- a) Knowledge of LC-MS method development and analytical chemistry b) Knowledge in in-vitro screening of compounds and cell culture, c) Experience in animal handling, cell culture and molecular biology
techniques. d) Experience in BSL3 / ABSL3, animal handling, experimentation in
immunology especially T cell immune response Candidates working in R&D
field of industrial / academic institutions can also apply for the said
position Desirable
Qualification & Experience: Experience in in-vitro Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics studies,
Molecular work- DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, Virology- animal cell culture,
virus isolation, neutralization. in vitro screening of natural extracts or
compounds |

3. Research
Associate I/II/III - Minimum
Qualification and Experience: PhD in any branch of Life Sciences from a
recognized University. Desirable Qualification & Experience: - Expertise in Molecular Biology, Cell
Biology, Structural biology. - The candidate should also be familiar with studying Proteinsmall
molecule interaction, Tissue culture techniques, animal handling, enzymatic
assays. - Candidates with BSL-3 experience would be preferred. |

4. Senior
Project Associate - Minimum
Qualification and Experience: MSc in Life Sciences or equivalent from a
recognized university with four years' of post qualification experience in
R&D. OR PhD in Life Sciences from a recognized university. Desirable
Qualification & Experience: - Expertise in recombinant protein purification, biochemical and/or
biophysical assays and molecular biology are required. - Experitise in tissue culture work, RNA work, RT-PCR etc. |

5. Project
Associate-I - Minimum
Qualification and Experience: MSc in any field of Life Sciences from a
recognized University. Desirable
Qualification & Experience: Working experience in the field of aptamer technology, molecular
biology, nanotechnology, routine laboratory techniques like ELISA, ALISA
Western blotting, PCR, bacterial culture, affinity chromatography etc. Should
have experience with Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications.
Should have good writing and presentation skills. |

6. Research
Associate-II - Minimum
Qualification and Experience: PhD in any branch of Life Sciences from a
recognized University with one year of postqualification experience in the
relevant field. Desirable: Sound knowledge of maternal-fetal/placental
biology and expertise in mammalian cell culture and molecular techniques At
least one publication as first author in a scientific journal Desirable
Qualification & Experience: Experience in isolation and establishing trophoblast cell culture
assays Experience in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence assays, data
analysis and report writing. Working experience in histopathology of the
human placenta. |
