SWR Sports Person Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:

1. Level-4 - Graduation in any discipline or equivalent
from a recognised University. |
|
2. Level 5 - Graduation in any discipline
or equivalent from a recognised University, OR Pass in 1st Year B.Sc.
(Physics) or a pass in 12th (+2 stage) in Higher Secondary in Science
(Physics or Maths) from recognised institution, OR 12th (+2 Stage) or
equivalent examination from a-recognised Board/University and for the skill
test prescribed dictation speed of 80 words per minute duration time 10
minutes and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes
(Hindi). |

2. Level 2/3 - Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent
examination for Non-Technical posts. Educational Qualification must be from
Recognized Institution, OR Matriculation Plus
Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT from a
recognised institution (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an
alternative higher qualification. Act Apprenticeship/ITI is the only
qualification and no other qualification including Diploma in Engineering is
accepted as an alternative qualification on the ground of being a higher
qualification in the same line of training). OR 10th Standard from a
recognised institution (In case, the candidates considered on 10th Standard
passed qualification to the post of Skilled Artisan, such sports quota
appointees will be directed for training for a period of THREE YEARS. |

Minimum Sports
Norms-The minimum sports norms for recruitment of sportspersons against sports
quota through Open Advertisement for both the team and the individual events in
different Pay matrix levels of 7th PC shall be as under:

1. Level 4 & 5 – Represented the Country
in Olympics Games (Senior Category) OR Gold medal in Asian Games OR 2 medals
in different events in the same Asian Games OR At least 3rd position in any
of the Category - B Championships/events. |

2. Level 2 & 3 - (i) Represented the
Country in any of the Category-A and Category B Championships/events, OR (ii) At least 3rd
position in any of the Category — C Championships/events, OR (iii) At least 3rd
position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships; OR (iv) At least 3rd
position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association,
OR (v) At least 3rd
Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis
of Association of Indian Universities, OR (vi) 1st Position in
Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) |

SWR may follow the

Application
Fee/Exam Fee for SWR Sports Person:
For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-Para (ii) below: Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred
Only), with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- (Rs Four Hundred Only) to those
who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial.
After deducting bank charges
For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex- Servicemen/ Persons with
Disability/ Women/Minorities* and Economic Backward Class: Rs.250/- (Rs. Two Hundred
Fifty Only) with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found
eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting
bank charges Candidates in this category should check their eligibility
thoroughly before applying. Fee in respect of candidates who are ineligible,
but still apply, shall not be refunded.
Note: The applicants shall pay
the Application Fee as indicated in the Table Above through Online Payment Mode
Only.
