IISER Scientific Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
- B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. with at least 55% marks in appropriate field. - 3 years relevant experience in handling advanced sophisticated
instrumentation / research equipment such as NMR, XRD, EPR/ Flow Cytometry
and cell sorting/ confocal microscopy/ spectroscopy/ Mass Spectrometry/ X-ray
diffraction/ any other equipment/ facility that may be acquired from time to
time etc. in a laboratory / Academic / Research / Multinational Academic
establishment of National / International Repute. |
Age Limit: (As
on 17.03.2022)

Assistant - 35 years |
The Upper age limit is
relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with
Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for
Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will

Fee/Exam Fee for IISER Scientific Assistant:
Candidates
must pay online application fee of Rs. 500/- for GEN/OBC/EWS. Fee is exempted
for SC/ST/PwD/ Women Candidates of any community. Fee by any other mode of
payment will not be accepted. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any
circumstances. The candidates are required to pay online application fee only
in ICICI Bank by NEFT/RTGS/UPI/IMPS. A copy of proof having paid the
application fee must be attached with the Application Form. The bank details

downloaded from the Institute website (www.iisermohali.ac.in).
2. The Application Form duly
filled in the prescribed format and complete in all respects accompanied by
selfattested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support
of age, education qualifications, experience, caste/ community/ class (if
applicable), along with recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed on
the Application Form, proof of payment of fee should be sent to “The
Recruitment Cell, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER),
Mohali, Sector-81, Knowledge City, S.A.S. Nagar, P.O. Manauli, Mohali,
Punjab–140306 by due date positively.
3. The envelope containing the
complete application must be superscribed as “Application for the post of
Scientific Assistant on Contract”.
