BEL Deputy Engineer Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

1. Senior
Engineer /E-III - Full time M.E/
M.Tech (Mechatronics) with First Class from an AICTE approved College/
Institute or a recognized University Experience: Minimum TWO YEARS relevant
post-qualification Industrial experience in the following domains as on
01.05.2022. The incumbent shall be responsible for engineering of Military grade
& commercial platforms like Unmanned Ground Vehicle, Unmanned Air
Vehicles, Unmanned Underwater vehicles & Automation Systems. Activities
shall include System conceptualization, system engineering, selection of
electronics modules (sensors, controllers, motors etc.) 3D part modelling,
carrying out design verification (Thermal and Structural Analysis), building
prototypes, integration, system tuning, controller programming, validating
design and generating files for production. Relevant
Experience: a. Should have a flare for Product/system conceptualization from basic
requirements. Knowledge of unmanned platforms & automation systems is a
must. b. Hands on experience in Part and assembly modeling using 3D modeling
software, generating 2D drawings, thermal and structural analysis,
Reliability Engineering and knowledge of manufacturing processes. c. Hands on experience in Industrial Automation PLC, MATLAB, Simulink
etc. d. Hands on experience in integration of electronics components/modules
with mechanical systems. e. Hands on experience in selection of electronics components/modules
(sensors like LIDAR, GYRO, Ultrasound, Cameras etc., motors, controllers, MEMS,
Computers, embedded hardware etc.) for realization of platforms. f. Hands on experience in
programming of controllers, On-board Computing platforms, tuning of systems
to meet the operational specifications. g. Exposure towards Military Standards for electronic equipment. h. Relevant knowledge in product design to comply with Mil Standards
related to environment and EMI, Reliability engineering and Design for Six
Sigma would be an added advantage |

2. Deputy
Engineer /E-II - Full time M.Tech
(Computer Science/ Information Science/ Cyber Security) with Prior Degree of
M.Sc (Mathematics). First Class for General candidates and Pass Class for SC
candidates from an AICTE approved College/ Institute or a recognized
University. Relevant
Experience: The Job involves design of algorithms, Simulation and verification of
the design in high level language like C, Algorithm testing for randomness
with NIST test suite, Design of new crypto primitives and substantiating with
their mathematical strengths like Linear complexity, Cryptanalysis of
algorithms, Documentation of the design for external evaluation. Work
Experience in the design of algorithms in cryptography, cryptanalysis and
mathematical analysis of algorithms, experience in linear / matrix algebra
and number theory etc. and computer programming languages coding in C, C++,
Java, design and analysis of asymmetric key crypto algorithms will be an
added advantage |

The Upper age limit is
relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with
Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for
Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will

BEL Deputy Engineer Selection Process 2022:
Selection will be through a Written
Test for shortlisted candidates, followed by an Interview, only for those
candidates who qualify in the Written Test. The venue for the Written Test /
Interview will be at Bengaluru.

Fee/Exam Fee for BEL Deputy Engineer:

a) Candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 600/- plus 18% GST
towards application fee through SBI Collect (through online mode or through
SBI Branch). b) Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for
making the payment. c) Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI branch.
Candidates are required to select SBI branch in the payment option and
download & print the challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit
the application fee of Rs. 600/- plus 18% GST applicable bank charges in any
SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of
the bank official. d) Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect Reference No.” generated
after payment, in the Application Form. SC/ PwBD candidates are exempted from
payment of application fee. e) Candidate may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria
carefully before remitting application fees and sending the application. Fees
once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates may take
note that no cheque, DD or cash will be accepted towards payment of
application fee. |
