erection, repair and maintenance of pumps, generators, compressors, marine

Cum Fitter (Fitter) - Pass in SSLC, ITI
(National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National
Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Fitter. Minimum five years post qualification experience in a Shipyard /
Engineering Company/ Government Company or Establishment / Semi-Government
Company or Establishment, in the following areas:- i) Structural work using
machines like bending machine, shearing machine, hydraulic presses etc and or
in repair and maintenance of heavy duty cranes, hydraulic presses,
compressors, pneumatic tools etc. OR ii) Erection, repair and maintenance of
pumps, generators, compressors, marine engines, thermal power station
auxiliaries etc. |

18. Welder
Cum Fitter (Sheet Metal Worker) - Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National
Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal
Worker. Minimum five years post qualification experience in the areas of
Structural work using machines like bending machine, shearing machine,
hydraulic presses etc and or in repair and maintenance of heavy duty cranes,

20.Fitter
(Electronics) - Pass in SSLC, ITI
(National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship
Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic. Minimum five years post qualification experience in the repair and
maintenance of electronic control circuits of industrial equipments in a - Shipyard or - Engineering Company or - Manufacturing Company of electronic goods or - Government Company or Establishment or - Semi-Government Company or Establishment. |

21.Shipwright
Wood - Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade
Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship
Certificate) in the trade of Shipwright Wood (Carpenter). Minimum five years post qualification experience as Carpenter in a - Shipyard or - Engineering Company or - Government Company or Establishment or - Semi-Government Company or Establishment. |
Age Limit:
|
a) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 35
years as on 06 June 2022, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 07 June
1987. b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy
Layer) candidates & 5 years for SC/ST candidates, in posts reserved for
them. c) Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and
Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no
case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 50 years. d) Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India
guidelines, calculated by deducting the period of military service from the
actual age and adding three years thereto, subject to a maximum age of 45
years. |

CSL Workmen Selection Process 2022:
I. For the posts of Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation), Welder Cum Fitter (Welder, Sheet
Metal Worker, Plumber, Mechanic Diesel/Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Fitter), Fitter
(Electrical), Fitter (Electronics) & Shipwright Wood:- Phase
I- Objective type online test and Phase II - Practical test
II. For the posts of Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics, ABAP), Laboratory Assistant (Mechanical, Chemical),
Store Keeper, Junior Commercial Assistant & Assistant: Objective Type Online
test and Descriptive Type Online Test
Application
Fee/Exam Fee for CSL Workmen:
|
(i) Application fee of ` 400/- (Non – refundable, plus bank charges
extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit
card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our
Online application facility from 14 May 2022 to 06 June 2022. No other mode
of payment shall be accepted. (ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe
(ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee.
They are exempted from payment of application fee. (iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those
belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the
above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be
considered only on receipt of application fee. |

and Submission of application. Applicants should not submit more than one
application to the same post. Application once submitted shall be final.

notified requirements may go through the instructions on the online application
page, complete the Registration and submit their application online through the
online application facility from 14 May 2022 and the facility can be accessed

submitted direct or by any other mode shall not be accepted.
