UPSC Assistant Director Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
1. Drug
Inspector (Ayurveda) - Bachelors Degree
in Ayurveda from a recognized University or Institute and recognized under
the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970). Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy of Ayurveda. |
2. Assistant
Director (Banking) - Chartered Accountant
or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial
Analyst or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Master’s of
Business Administration (Finance) or Master’s of Business Economics or
Master’s of Commerce. Experience: One year’s experience in finance or banking affairs from any
government listed private organization. |
3. Master in
Hindi in Rashtriya Indian Military College - (i) Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognized University. (ii) Degree
in teaching from a recognized University or Institution. Experience: Three years’ teaching experience in Hindi in a recognized school or
educational Institution. |
4. Assistant
Director (Cost) - A qualification
recognized for enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of
India. Clarification: Candidates are eligible for enrolment in the register
of Member of the respective Institute after they have passed the Final
examination of Chartered Accountancy or of Cost Accountancy conducted by the
respective Institute. |
5. Assistant
Registrar General (Map) - Master’s Degree in
Geography from a recognized University. Experience: Ten years’ experience in map publication in map publication office
under the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or
Universities or recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector
Undertakings or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations including two years’
experience in applied cartography. |
6. Scientist
‘B’ (Chemistry) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory - Master’s Degree in Chemistry / *AIC by examination / Biochemistry /
Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science
level from a recognized University. |
7. Junior
Scientific Officer (Ballistics) - Master’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or
Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects during
all the three years of bachelor of Science level from a recognized
University. |
8. Junior
Scientific Officer (Explosives) - Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Associateship diploma of the
Institution of Chemist by Examination** or Forensic Science with Chemistry as
one of the subjects during all the three years of bachelor of science level
from a recognized University |
9. Junior
Scientific Officer (Toxicology) - Masters Degree in Chemistry or Associateship diploma of the
Institution of Chemist by examination** or Biochemistry or Pharmacology or
Pharmacy or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects during all
the three years of Bachelors of Science level from a recognized University. Experience: Three years experience in research and analytical work in the field
of Toxicology in any central and state organization or recognized institute
or university or forensic Science laboratories under Central Government and
State Government. |
10. Senior
Lecturer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) - (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one
of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and
must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
(ii) M.D.( Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/ M.S.( Obstetrics & Gynaecology)
from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent. Experience: Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after
acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/
Demonstrator/ Tutor in a Recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution. |
11. Assistant
Professor (Law) - (i) Good academic
record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an
equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the
Master’s Degree level in Law from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from an accredited foreign University. (ii) Besides fulfilling the
above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited
by the UGC like SLET/SET. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in
sub-clause (i) and (ii) above, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a
Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum
Standards and Procedure for award of PhD degree) Regulation 2009 shall be
exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of
NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant professor or
equivalent positions in Universities / Colleges / Institutions. (iv)
NET/SET/SLET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in
discipline for which NET/SET/SLET is not conducted. |
