CSIR-CMERI JRF & Project Associate Eligibility Criteria:
The date for determining the upper age limit, qualification and/or
experience etc. will be the date of interview of the respective Post Code.
Relaxation in age limit of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Women
shall be provided as per the Government of India/CSIR rules.
Educational
Qualification:

1. Project
JRF - B.E./ B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in
Mechanical / Civil/ Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering selected through a
process described through any one of the following : a) National Eligibility Test – CSIR–NET, UGC-NET including lectureship
(Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b) The Selection process through National level examinations conducted
by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as
DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Desirable: Candidates having M.Tech, degree in the same subject and those having
a good knowledge of computational methods and tools will be preferred. |

2. Project
Associate-II - BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical
Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with two years of
experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic
Institutions or Science and Technology Organization and Scientific activities
and services Desirable: - Knowledge in Dassault CATIA/Autodesk Inventor/Siemens NX /MSC ADAMS
/ANSYS software - Knowledge of different manufacturing processes and experience of
generating manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T using Autodesk
AutoCAD |

3. Project
JRF - B.E./B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in
Mechanical / Agricultural Engg. / Farm Machinery and Power Engineering
selected through a process described through any one of the following: a) National Eligibility Test – CSIR – NET, UGC-NET including
lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b) The Selection process through National level examinations conducted
by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as
DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Desirable: Experience in 3D modeling and Engineering drawing preparation of
mechanical systems with knowledge in Design Analysis/Farm Machinery Design |

Project Associate - BE/B.Tech in
Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engg. from a recognized university or
equivalent and 04 (four) years’ experience in Research and Development in
Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organizations
and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) in
Mechanical Engg./Aerospace Engg. / Applied Mechanics Engineering from a
recognized university or equivalent Desirable : Knowledge in finite element modeling and simulation of polymer
composites. |
