UPSC Aeronautical Officer Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Aeronautical Officer -

Essential Qualifications: Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University. (B) Experience: Two years experience in aircraft design and development including aircraft electrical or electronics or mechanical systems or airworthiness engineering.

Desirable: One year experience in aeronautical research and development or design or laboratory investigation of failed aircraft parts or Flight Recorders involved in accident or incident or Airworthiness Engineering.

2. Professor of Clinical Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry -

Essential Qualifications:

(i) Master Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or institute. (ii) Master in Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institution. (iii) Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institution.

Experience: Ten years teaching and research experience in Clinical Psychology out of which at least five years teaching experience should be as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institution.

Desirable: Research or published work in indexed journal.

3. Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry -

Essential Qualifications: (i) Master Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or institute. (ii) M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institute.

Experience: Three years teaching or research experience as Clinical Psychologist in a Psychiatric Hospital, Psychiatric Clinic, Child Guidance Clinic or Department of Psychiatry in a General Hospital.

Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology or Anthropology or Social Psychology or Sociology from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Three years experience in individual and Group Psychotherapy and Counseling techniques.

4. Assistant Professor of Neuro Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry -

Essential Qualifications: (i) Master Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) M. Phil or Diploma in Clinical Psychology (two years course) from a recognized University or Institute. (B) Experience: Two years teaching and research experience as Neuro Psychologist in a Psychiatric Hospital, Psychiatric Clinic, Child Guidance Clinic or Department of Psychiatry in a General Hospital.

Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology or Anthropology or Social Psychology or Sociology. (ii) Experience in individual and Group Psychotherapy and Counseling techniques.

5. Engineer & Ship Surveyor -

Essential Qualifications: Certificate of Competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act.1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in Section 86 of the said Act.

Experience: Five years service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.

Desirable: One year experience in survey and inspection of merchant ship and one year experience in survey, inspection and examination of merchant ship.

Age Limit: (As on 27.06.2022)

1. Aeronautical Officer - 35 years.

2. Professor of Clinical Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry - 50 years.

3. Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry - 35 years.

4. Assistant Professor of Neuro Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry - 35 years.

5. Engineer & Ship Surveyor - 50 years.

Salary Details:

1. Aeronautical Officer - Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

2. Professor of Clinical Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry - Level- 12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC

3. Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry - Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC

4. Assistant Professor of Neuro Psychology in Central Institute of Psychiatry - Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

5. Engineer & Ship Surveyor - Level- 12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

 

UPSC Aeronautical Officer Selection Process 2022:

UPSC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for UPSC Aeronautical Officer: 

(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
