ICAR - IARI YP & Project Associate Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Principal
Project Associate-I under NMSHE project - Essential: i) MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information
Technology/Geomatics/Geo-informatics/Data Science/Data orSystem
analytics/AI/ML/or equivalent from a recognized university/institution with
first class or >7.5% OGPA ii) 2 years working experience in R&D/
Academic/ Science and Technology Organizations iii)Candidates should have
done 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. iv) Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree
must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D in any of above
disciplines.(As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015
and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015) OR i) PhD degree in
above subjects from a recognized university ii) 4-year experience in R&D/
Academic/ Science and Technology Organizations Desirable: Proficiency
in satellite data analysis, GIS tools, ArcGIS, Web GIS, GEE, and programming
proficiency in C#, Java, Python, R, ASP, IDL programming languages, 3D
graphics/animation/3-D modeling, and handling databases knowledge crop
simulation models, and analysis of climate model data |

2. Project
Associate-II under NMSHE project – Essential: i) MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology/Remote
Sensing-GIS/Atmospheric science/Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Remote
Sensing/Data Science/ Data or System analytics/Agronomy/Plant Physiology/Soil
Science or equivalent from a recognized university/ institutionwith first
class or >7.5% OGPA ii) Master's Degree in the above subject with 4 years
/ 5 years of Bachelor's degree. iii) Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree
must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D in any of above
disciplines. (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated
13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015). Desirable: Experience / Knowledge in 3D graphics/animation/ image processing,
Configuring Web Map server, programming in R / IDL/ C#/ Python / Java
script/Andriod and cloud computing/ web sources / GIS tools, 3D graphics/
animation/ 3-D modeling, and knowledge in crop/hydrological/climatesimulation
models, and analysis of climate model data. |

3. Project
Associate-II under NMSHE project – Essential: i) MSc/MTech/MEin Atmospheric science/ Hydrology/ Water
resources/Remote sensing and GIS/ Geo-informatics/ Computer science/
Information Technology/ with first class or > 7.5% OGPA from a recognized
university/ institution. ii) and iii) as in S.no.2 Desirable: Handling of land surface hydrological models, satellite and climate
data analysis using GIS tools, development of algorithms, proficiency in C,
C++, C#, Java, Python, R, ASP programming languages, MATLAB and handling
databases such as MySQL, Knowledge of model (Fortran/ C or others) source
code compilation in Visual studio or other IDE platforms. |

4. Senior
Research Fellow (SRF) for NICRA project – Essential: i) Master’s Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing & GIS /
Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Data Science or equivalent with first class or
> 7.5% OGPA from a recognized university/ institution ii) and iii) as in
S.no.2 Desirable: Experience / Knowledge of Satellite image
processing, ArcGIS, Web GIS, GEE, and programming in Python/R/IDL |

5. YP-II For
NICRA Project – Essential: i) Master’s degree with specialization in Soil Science &
Agricultural chemistry (SSAC)/ Environmental Science (with thesis work) with
first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/ institution. ii) And
iii same as in S no 5 iv) At least one year of research experience
post-degree in soil and plant chemical analysis Desirable: Experience in analysis of greenhouse gas emission, handling IRGA,
plant canopy analyser |

6. YP-II For
NICRA Project – Essential: i) MSc with specialization in Environmental Sciences with thesis work
/ Soil Science ii and iii as in S no 5 Desirable: Experience in soil/gas sampling from agricultural fields and their analysis |
|
7. YP II For
NICRA Project – Essential: MSc Ag in Plant Physiology or any branch of Agriculture from a
recognized university/ institution with first class or >7.5% OGPA from a
recognized university/ institution. Desirable: Experience in field experimentation, handling equipments such as IRGA,
Canopy Analyser and others,spil and plant sample analysis, knowledge in crop
models such as InfoCrop, DSSAT, APSIM |
