NCDC Lab Technician Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Assistant
Research Officer - Essential: Graduate in Science/ relevant subjects/ from a recognized university
with five years’ work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s
degree in the relevant subject. Desirable: i) M.Sc. Microbiology/ Life Science/ Biotechnology ii) Work experience in Microbiology laboratory iii) Experience in
Molecular work iv)Knowledge of computer application |

2. Laboratory
Technician – Essential: i) B. Sc. In MLT from recognized university OR ii) 10+2 in Science subject with DMLT 2 years course from recognized
university/Institute Desirable: i) M.Sc. Microbiology/Life
Science/ Biotech. ii) Work experience in Microbiology laboratory iii) Know1edge of Computer application. |

3. Assistant
Director - Essential: i)Master’s degree (MSc/MVSc./ MD) in Biotechnology/ Molecular biology/
Microbial genetics/ Organic chemistry/ Microbiology OR Zoology with Cell
biology or Human genetics as special subject OR Life sciences with specialization
in Molecular biology/Microbial genetics/ Cell biology or Genetics from a
recognized University ii) At least 7 years’ experience after Master’s degree OR 3-year
experience after MD degree OR oneyear experience after PhD degree in the
field of molecular biology related to human/ animal health, genomics and/or
proteomics research, molecular diagnostics, molecular epidemiology and
applied innovations in various aspects of infectious disease or other similar
areas as evident from publications in journals of high international repute. Desirable:
i) Candidates holding PhD degree
ii) Sound knowledge of computer applications in analysis of molecular
data |

4. Laboratory
Assistant - Essential: High School * or equivalent with five years’ experience in related
field from a Government institution or recognized institute or certificate of
one-year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade certificate
of National Council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS
in relevant trade from a Government recognized board. *Intermediate with
science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2- and 3-years’
experience respectively. Desirable: i. Graduation in Life Sciences ii. Work experience in Microbiology laboratory iii. Knowledge of
computer application |

5. Field
Worker - Essential: High School * or equivalent with oneyear experience in related field
from a Government institution or recognized institute or certificate of
one-year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade certificate

How to apply
for NCDC Lab Technician Post:
- Eligible candidates
fulfilling the educational qualification, experience etc. as mentioned above
may appear for the Walk-in-interview/ Written Test/ Skill Test on the
above-mentioned dates/ time at National Centre for Disease Control, 22-Sham
Nath Marg; Delhi -110 054 (Near Civil Line Metro Station). The eligible
candidates may register their names for interview between 10.00 A.M to 11.00 A.M.
along with a resume original certificate, one passport size photograph and
their attested copies.
- The eligible candidate may
register their names for interview between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM along with a
resume, original certificates, one passport size photograph and their attested
copies. Registration will be closed at 11.00 A.M sharp. Candidate reporting
after 11.00 AM will not be entertained. Candidates without original documents
will also not be entertained. The candidate must ensure their eligibility as
per above Terms of Reference, before appearing for Walk-in-interview/ Written
Test/ Skill Test.
