Criteria:

Qualification:

1. Food
Safety Officer (Group-B) - The candidate should possess the following:- (i) A degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or
Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry
or Microbiology or Master's Degree in Chemistry or degree in Medicine from a
recognized university; or (ii) Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric or Hindi as one of the subjects in
Higher Education. (iii) The selected candidates will have to successfully complete
training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or
Institution approved for the purpose and only those who will complete the
training will be appointed as Food Safety Officer. |

The
Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper
