APPSC Forest Range Officer Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
(i) Must possess a Bachelor’s
Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a
Central Act or State Act or a Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by
the University Grants Commission; or any equivalent qualification in the
following subjects:- (I) Agriculture (II) Botany (III) Chemistry (IV) Computer Applications / Computer Science (V) Engineering (Agriculture / Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical
/ Electronics / Mechanical) (VI) Environmental Science (VII) Forestry (VIII) Geology (IX) Horticulture (X) Mathematics (XI) Physics (XII) Statistics (XIII) Veterinary Science (XIV) Zoology. |
Age Limit: (As
on 01.07.2022)

Range Officers - Minimum 18 years
& Maximum 30 years |
The
Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

APPSC may follow the
following process to select the candidates.

Fee/Exam Fee for APPSC Forest Range Officer:
|
- Applicant must pay Rs.
250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) towards application processing fee
and Rs 120/- (Rupees one hundred twenty only) towards examination fee. - However, the following
categories of candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee
Rs.120/- only. i) SC, ST, BC &
Ex-Service Men. ii) Families having Household
Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government.
(Residents of Andhra Pradesh) iii) Un-employed youth as per
G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Ser- A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit
declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission. iv) Applicants belonging to the
categories mentioned above (except Ex-Service Men) hailing from other States
are not entitled for exemption from payment of fee and not entitled for
claiming any kind of reservation. v) Candidates belonging to
other States shall pay the prescribed fee of Rs.120/- (Rupees one hundred and
twenty only), along with processing fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and
fifty only) through different channels as indicated at para8. Otherwise such
applications will not be considered and no correspondence on this will be
entertained. |
