CSL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. ITI Trade
Apprentices - - Pass in X standard - Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC) in the concerned
trades |
|
2. Technician
(Vocational) Apprentices - Pass in Vocational
Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned discipline (Refer Table
IB). |
|
Note: The
candidate shall have their domicile (permanent address) in Kerala |
Age Limit: 18 years as on 26.10.2022
Stipend:

1. ITI Trade
Apprentices - Rs. 8,000/- |

2. Technician
(Vocational) Apprentices - Rs. 9,000/- |
CSL Apprentice Selection Process 2022:
A. Short-listing of
candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the
prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trades. In case, same
percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed
qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in age.
B. Shortlisted candidates
shall be intimated through the registered email Id and will have to appear for
verification of following certificates:-
a. Print out of online
application form (possessing unique registration number) duly signed.
b. Original certificates
towards proof of age, qualification, caste disability (if any) etc.
c. Self-attested copies
of all certificates
How to apply
for CSL Apprentice Post:
(i) Interested candidates who
fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria should go through the User
Manual published on our website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page - CSL Kochi)
before filling the online application. The application consists of two phases -
One time Registration in the SAP E-recruitment portal of CSL and Submission of
application against the Trade/Vocation applicable. Applicants should not submit
more than one application. Application once submitted shall be final.
(ii) Applicants should ensure
that all certificates towards proof of age, educational qualification, caste,
disability etc and a recent passport size colour photograph are uploaded in the
SAP online application portal, failing which their candidature shall not be
considered and shall be rejected.
(iii) After applying through
online, applicants should retain a soft copy/ printout of the online
application containing the unique registration number generated by the system
for their reference.
