ICMR-NIRT Project Technical Officer Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:

1. Project
Technical Officer (IT) - B.E / B.Tech (CSE,
IT, ECE) / BCA / B.Sc. Computer Science with Five year work experience in IT
and Server Management. OR M.E / M.Tech (CSE, IT, ECE) / MCA / M.Sc. Computer
Science. Desirable Qualification & Nature of Duties Certification : - RHCE, VCP, MCSE/ MCITP, CISSP/ CCNA/ CCNP or equivalent. - Should have good networking knowledge (WAN/Lan, BGP VPN, MPLS etc.) Should
be able to configure troubleshoot and implement routers switches, firewalls,
monitoring, load balancers etc. Should have knowledge in DNS, DHCP Servers
installation, configuration & troubleshooting. - Should have knowledge in implementing and administering backup,
recovery and resilience systems to ensure IT disaster recovery and business
continuity. - Should have knowledge in system management, system setup and managing
linux based servers as well as configuring them (RedHat Enterprise Linux 7, 8
RedHat Clustering.) |

educational qualifications, age, caste/community and affixing a colour passport
size photograph on the application form while reporting for walk-in written
test/interview on the date and time mentioned above. Original Certificates of
all these credentials should also be carried with for verification.
