Educational
Qualification:
|
1. ARO
(Equivalent to SRF) - Master’s degree in
Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Science OR Postgraduate in Science (Biotechnology/
Microbiology/ Biochemistry or its equivalent With National Eligibility Tests-
CSIR + UGC, NET, including NET lectureship and GATE or through National level
examinations conducted by Central Government Departments as DST, DBT, DAE,
DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, etc. and With 2 years of
research experience Desirable Experience:1) Experience in the handling and maintenance of zoonotic pathogens
(microbial culture, isolation)/ samples pathogens (such as Leptospira) 2)
Experience/knowledge in Serological (ELISA, Microscopic Agglutination Test,
Latex Agglutination Test, Proficiency Test) and molecular techniques (PCR and
Realtime PCR) 3) Experience in cloning, expression, and purification of
proteins for the development of diagnostics. 4) Proficiency in computer
skills (MS office) and data management and analysis |

2. Research
Associate - Ph.D. in relevant subject
(Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry or its equivalent) OR Master’s
degree in the relevant subject (Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry or
its equivalent) with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or
60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three
years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/
Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated
25.4.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated
Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019. Desirable Experience:1.Laboratory experience in handling microbial cultures 2.Experience and
knowledge in epidemiology, sero-monitoring, surveillance including molecular
techniques PCR and serological techniques, etc., for diagnosis of disease
3.Organizing training/meetings/workshops and conducting outreach programmes.
4. Proficiency in computer skills 5.Two years’ experience in Data analysis

equivalent) Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow - Master’s
degree in Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Science OR Postgraduate in Science
(Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry or its equivalent) With National
Eligibility Tests- CSIR + UGC, NET, including NET lectureship and GATE or
through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER,
etc and with 2 years of research experience for SRF. Desirable Experience: Minimum one-year laboratory research experience Hands-on experience in
handling the transported samples, performing, standardizing, evaluating, and
validating ELISA, and other serological techniques; PCR, cell culture,
expression and purification of proteins; drafting the report and preparation
of SOPs training manual/bulletins, etc. |

4. Programme
Manager - Ph.D. in relevant subject

in disease outbreak investigation/Risk mapping (GIS mapping) preparation and
analysis, including program management. Experience in managing and handling
projects individually. Preparation of reports, training manuals, Hand
Book/Bulletins/leaflets for information dissemination, awareness and IEC
creation. |

Assistant – Graduate in any stream with
working knowledge of accounts and computers, including MS office. OR Diploma
in Agricultural Sciences/Engineering/Technology Desirable Experience: Experience in administrative and accounts work, i.e., processing of files
for purchase of equipment and consumables, purchase order creation,
settlement of bills, and other officerelated activities, including financial
settling of accounts. |

Professional-I (IT) – Graduate with at
least 60% marks in Computer Application/Information Technology/ Computer

statistical analysis knowledge is essential with report writing skills. |
