IMSc Chennai Project Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:

1. Research
Associate - Educational
Qualification : Ph.D in theoretical
physics with expertise in quantum information theory / quantum networks /
quantum field theory with inclination towards |

2. Project
Assistant - Educational
Qualification : M.Sc in physics with
60% marks, B.E /B.Tech (first class) with sound background in Physics.
Preference will be given for NET/JEST/GATE qualified students. Candidates should have a good understanding of quantum mechanics and
know programming languages such as c++, Matlab, or Python. |

3. JRF - Educational
Qualification : B.Tech / BE / MSc with 60% marks (first
class) and sound background in Physics. Desirable : Candidates should have a good understanding of statistical physics and must
know programming languages such as c++, Matlab, or Python. Preference will be given for NET/JEST/GATE qualified students. |

4. Project
Assistant - Essential
Qualification: Candidate should have Masters degree
in Physics or Mathematics or Computer Science or related areas from a reputed
university or institute,and should has high quality research track record.
Knowledge of graph theory, dynamical systems and programming languages such
as Python and C++ is desirable. Desirable: The selected candidate will work with the head of the partner group on
a project funded by the Max Planck Society and to be carried out in close
collaboration with researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in
the Sciences, Leipzig, Germany. A major goal of this project is to analyze
large and complex biological networks, and we are looking for candidates with
track record in graph theory, dynamical systems and computer programming. |
