ICF Chennai Sports Person Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Senior
Clerk (Level-5) - Degree from
recognized university 2. Junior
Clerk (Level-2) - 12th (+2 stage) or
its equivalent examination. 3. Technician
Gr. III (Level-2) - 10th Std pass, the training period for such sports quota appointees
will be 3 years, unless they possess ITI qualification in the relevant engineering
trades, in which case it will be 6 months. Note: Those selected as Senior Clerk/Junior Clerk are required to acquire
proficiency in Typewriting of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi within a
period of FOUR years from the date of appointment, else his/her appointment
will be treated as provisional till such time that he/she passes the typing
test. |

Achievements/Eligibility Norms For Levels 5 Represented the country in Olympic Games (Senior Category) (OR) Atleast 3rd position in any of the Category-B championships/events i) World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior),
ii) World Championships(Junior/Senior), iii) Asian Games(Senior), iv) Common Wealth Games(Senior) v) Youth Olympics For Levels 2
Level 2 Represented the country in any of the following : i) World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior), ii) World Championships(Junior/Senior), iii) Asian Games(Senior), iv) Common Wealth Games(Senior) v) Youth Olympics (OR) At least 3rd Position in any of the following: i) Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category), ii) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), iii) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category), iv) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). v) World University Games (OR) At least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. |
Age Limit:

- 18-25 years as on 01.07.2023 - No age relaxation
(Upper or Lower) shall be permissible for recruitment through open
advertisement. |
ICF Chennai Sports Person Selection Process 2022:
|
The candidates who apply in response to this notification and are found
eligible for consideration for appointment against sports quota will be
assessed based on their performance during Trial & Interview. The
eligible candidates will be called for document verification before trials. |
Application
Fee/Exam Fee for ICF Chennai Sports Person:
|
Candidates applying for the posts in response to this Notification have
to pay the prescribed Fee as below payable in the form of Demand Draft /
Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO/ICF payable at Chennai. i) Fee of ₹ 500/- for all candidates, except the Fee concession categories
mentioned at Sl.No ii) Fee ₹ 250/- for candidates
belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD),
Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes with a provision for
refunding the same, duly deducting bank charges, if any, to those candidates
appearing in the Trials. (Original Community / Relevant Certificates in the
prescribed annexure should be provided at the time of document verification
for fee exemption). |
How to apply
for ICF Chennai Sports Person Post:
- If a candidate is applying
for more than one Game/Event, the candidate should submit separate application
enclosing separate DD/IPO for each game.
- Applications should be
strictly in the prescribed format as appended.
- The application format is
also available in the ICF website https://pb.icf.gov.in
- The specific position played
in the particular discipline, if applicable should be mentioned in the
application without fail
- One passport size photograph
should be pasted on the application form at the space specified.
- Along with the filled-in
application form an IPO or Demand Draft for an amount of ₹500/- (or) ₹ 250/-
(as applicable) should be enclosed.
- Self-Attested legible
photocopies of the following documents should also be enclosed along with the
application.
i) Proof of prescribed
Educational Qualification (Mark sheets/certificates) as per notification and
higher qualifications (Graduation / Post graduation), if any.
ii) Proof of Technical
Qualification / Typing qualification (if any).
iii) Proof of Date of Birth
{Birth Certificate or Std X mark list}.
iv) Transfer Certificate
/School Leaving Certificate (last studied).
v) SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD
certificate in the format as prescribed in the Annexures of Notification.
vi) Department / Government
service candidates must enclose a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer.
vii) Copies of certificates of
essential sports achievements as prescribed in para 4 above.
Viii) Certificates in languages
other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation in
English / Hindi.
Application in the prescribed
format, complete in all respect along with the enclosures should be sent to the
following address, in a cover, duly superscribing.
"APPLICATION FOR SPORTS
RECRUITMENT (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT)” 2022-23 should be written in Block letters
duly mentioning the category applied for. The envelope should be addressed to
the
“ASSISTANT PERSONNEL OFFICER/RECRUITMENT, INTEGRAL COACH FACTORY,
CHENNAI - 600 038.”
and sent by ordinary post only.
