Educational
Qualification:

1. Engineer
‘B’ (Optics) - Essential
Qualification: Full time course in B.E/B.Tech.
in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Engg. Physics/Applied Optics or M.E./M.Tech. in
Mechanical/Instrumentation/Engg. Physics/Applied Optics with at least 60%
marks in the aggregate from a recognized University/ Institution. Experience: Two years experience in optics design /fabrication and testing in
reputed research institution / organization after graduation. |

2. Mechanic
‘A’ (Carpentry) - Qualification: SSLC with one year full time NCTVT certificate course (ITI) in the
trade of Carpenter with at least 60% marks from a Govt. recognized Industrial
Training Institute. Experience: Essential: At least One year National Apprenticeship training certificate (NAC)
& Two years experience in a reputed research institute or in a medium
scale industry engaged in carpentry works after completion of ITI course OR
Three years experience in a reputed research institute or in a medium scale
industry engaged in carpentry works after completion of ITI course. Should be
conversant with fabrication of wooden shelves, packing boxes, crates,
polishing of wooden items and general maintenance of door locks, door
closers, windows, door/window glasses, wooden tables/chairs, shelves, etc. Desirable: Knowledge of fabrication of wooden models/Templates. |

3. Electrician
‘A’ - Essential
Qualification: SSLC with two years full time
NCTVT certificate course (ITI) in the trade of Electrician with at least 60%
marks from a Govt. recognized Industrial Training Institute. Electrician’s
Class-I licence or Electrical Supervisor’s license issued by State or Central
Government. Experience: Essential: Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputed research institute or in a
medium scale industry as Electrician after completion of ITI course with
knowledge of electrical machinery, operation of Power Panels etc. Desirable: Maintenance and operation of Power Panels, Circuit breakers, Diesel
Generator sets, Electrical wiring for domestic and industrial applications |

Technical Assistant (Electronics) - Qualification: Essential: Three years full time course in Diploma in Electronics Engineering/
Electronics & Communication Engineering or BE/B.Tech. in Electronics
Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering (full time course)
with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE
recognized institute/university. Desirable: Professional Training in Electronic Circuit Schematic and PCB Design
software in Orcad/ Proteus/ Eagle/Altium. Professional Certificate Training
in soldering of through hole and SMD components. Experience: Essential: Minimum three years of working experience related to Electronic
Circuit Schematic Design, multi-layer PCB Design, Fabrication / Testing of
PCBs used in Measurement systems, analog and digital circuits, in any of the
Central/State Government /Research / Private organizations after completion
of Diploma course. Desirable: Practical experience of operating lab equipment like Mixed Signal
Oscilloscope (MSO), Digital Power Supplies, Function generator etc.
Maintenance of Servo control systems, cryogenic detectors like CCD/CMOS
cameras. Knowledge of computer operation. |

Research Assistant (Observations) - Qualification: Essential: Full time course in Bachelor of Science in Physics/Maths/Chemistry or
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/ Electronics or Bachelor in

Optics or Two years full time ITI course with one year apprentice training in
Fitter/Turner/Tools & Die Making discipline with minimum 60% marks in
aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE/NCVT recognized institute. Desirable: 1) Master Degree in Optics. 2) Professional training in Machine operation such as CNC/CMM/Machine
building/Tool making in Optics fabrication field. Experience: Essential: Minimum three Years of working experience related to Optics
fabrication or Tools building for Optics fabrication or Conventional and NC
Optics Grinder and Polisher operation or experience with CNC/CMM operation
after obtaining Diploma/BE/B.Tech./ITI course. Desirable: Computer knowledge/Documentation/MS office etc. |

Technical Assistant (Computer and IT) - Qualification:
Essential: Three years full time course in Diploma in Computer Science/IT or
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) or equivalent with minimum of 60%
marks from Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized Institute. Desirable:
Diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking, CCNA, CCNP Experience: Essential: Minimum three years of relevant full-time experience after completion
of Diploma/ Degree in research & development in Central / State Govt.
Organizations / State autonomous or other recognized organization of repute.
Experience in Computer hardware and software installations, networking
technologies (VPN, Remote Access, Routing, Switching, Wired and Wireless,
AAA, Radius etc.) and networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRF,
Access-lists, STP, QoS, VLAN etc.). Experience in handling L2 & L3 switches,
routers, LAN, WAN. ISP management, taking backup of network device
configurations. Configuring and managing network printers. Knowledge of using
network monitoring tools, packet capture and analysis techniques. Capable of
handling MIS. Desirable: Data Center operation and management, Virtualization Techniques,
Working experience with Linux and windows, Knowledge of network security
technologies-firewalls, VPN etc., IT security and incidence response,
Versioning systems. |

Technical Assistant (Computer and IT) - Qualification:
Essential: Three years full time course in Diploma in Computer Science/IT or
Bachelors of Computer Application (BCA) with minimum of 60% marks from
Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized Institute or B.E/B.Tech. in
Computer Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a govt.
recognized university/institution. Desirable: Higher educational
qualification with expertise in embedded system, precision control system,
exposure to embedded C programming. Experience: Essential: Minimum three year experience after diploma or degree in a leading
National Laboratory / Research Institute, of which 2 years in High Altitude
above 11000 ftamsl (feet above mean sea level). Involvement in cross-platform
GUI software development based on Java/Python/C/C++/.NET, software testing
and integration, using data analysis tools and web development with latest
technologies. Proficiency in unix/linux operating system, network management
and security. Desirable: Embedded programming in C and C# for PIC, PSoC and Arduino
microcontrollers. Expertise in embedded system for precision control system. |

Essential: Three years full time course in Diploma in Electrical/Electrical &
Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate from a
Central/State Government/AICTE recognized institute and with supervisory “C”
certificate or with B-License issued by the Electrical Licensing Board.
Desirable: Knowledge of Electrical protection devices/systems Experience: Essential: Minimum two years experience after diploma of running/maintenance of
different types of both high tension and low tension electrical installations
including DG sets, underground cable system and knowledge of maintenance of
electrical installations in state / central government / scientific / reputed
organizations.; Desirable: Computer knowledge, AUTOCAD drawing, installation / operation of
protective systems / devices like SPD, lightning arrestors etc |

Assistant - Qualification:
Essential: Full time Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from a recognized
University / Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Desirable:
Master Degree in Floriculture and Landscape architecture from a recognized
University / Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate Or Post Graduate
(PG) Diploma in Landscape Gardening from a recognized University / Institute
with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Experience: Essential: Three years experience after graduation in the field of Management of
Landscape facility/ Garden maintenance/Horticulturist/Landscape Architect in
a State or Central Government organization / Autonomous Institutions / Public
