TSPSC Librarian Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification: (As on 31.12.2022)
|
1. Librarian
under control of commissioner of Intermediate Education - Must possesses a Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce and a
Postgraduate Degree in Library Science with first or second class with not
less than 50% of marks from a university in India established or incorporated
by of under a central act, state act, or a provincial act, or an institute
recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent
qualification. |

2. Librarian
under control of commissioner of Technical Education - LEVEL-9-A, Entry Pay 56,100/- 1. Master’s Degree in Library
Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an Equivalent
Professional Degree with at least first class or its equivalent and
consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of
library. 2. Qualifying in the National Level Test conduct for the purpose by
UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC LEVEL-10 Entry Pay
57,700/- A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent and have cleared
the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a
similar test accredited by UGC, like SLET/ CET or Ph.D. |
Age Limit: (As
on 01.07.2022)

Minimum Age (18 years): An Applicant should not be born after
01/07/2004 Maximum Age (44 years): An applicant should not be born before
02/07/1978 |

Fee/Exam Fee for TSPSC Librarian:
|
i) Application Processing Fee:- Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/-
(Rupees Two Hundred Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee. ii) Examination Fee:- The applicants have to pay RS. 120/- (Rupees One
Hundred and Twenty Only) towards Examination Fee. However, a) All unemployees are exempted from payment of examination fee, and b) All Employees of any Government (Central / State / PSUs /
Corporations / Other Government Sector) have to pay the prescribed
examination fee. The applicant should pay the prescribed fee as specified through any of
the three modes of payment online i.e., Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit
Card duly following the instructions appearing on the screen. |
