BSF Group B & C Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:

1. SI
(Master) - i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and ii) 2nd class master certificate issued by Central/State Inland Water
Transport Authority/ Mercantile Marine Department. |

2. SI
(Engine Driver) - i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and ii) 1st class engine driver certificate issued by Central/State Inland
Water Transport Authority/Mercantile Marine Department. |

3. SI
(Workshop) - i) Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized
University or equivalent; OR ii) 03 years diploma in Mechanical/ Marine/Auto Mobile Engineering from
a recognized University or Institution. |

4. HC
(Master) - i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and ii) Serang Certificate |
|
5. HC
(Engine Driver) - i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and ii) Possessing 2nd class Engine Driver certificate. |

BSF may follow the
following process to select the candidates.

Documentation, Practical/Trade Test & Medical Examination and Re-Medical

Application
Fee/Exam Fee for BSF Group B & C:
|
Candidates applying for Group-‘B’ posts will pay Rs. 200/- and
candidates applying for Group-‘C’ posts will pay Rs. 100/- through any
prescribed digital modes i.e. Net Banking/UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card/Wallet
etc. However, fee is exempted for candidates belonging to SC, ST,
departmental candidates and Ex-Servicemen. Applicable service charges will be
paid by every candidates including exempted category. Fee once paid will not
be refunded under any circumstances. |
