BSF Para Medical Staff Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:  

1. SI/Staff Nurse Essential: (i) 10+2 or Equivalent (ii) Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme. (iii) Registration as General Nurse and Midwife with Central or State Nursing Council. Desirable: Experience in the field of Tuberculosis, Hospital Administration, Sister Tutor, Public health, Pediatrics, Psychiatry.

2. ASI/ Dental Technician -  Essential:  (i) 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution. (ii) Registration as Dental Technician with two years Diploma from an Institute recognized by the Central or the State Government.

3. ASI/Lab Technician - Essential: (i) 10+2 with science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. (ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution of the Central or the State Government

4. Junior X-Ray Assistant (Head Constable) - Essential: (i) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. (ii) Diploma or certificate in Radiography from an Institute recognized by the Central or the State Government with 06 months experience (preferably in a hospital of the Central or the State Government or in a hospital or an Institution recognized by the Central or State Government)

5. Constable (Table Boy) - Pass in Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University or Board;

6. CT(Ward Boy/ Ward Girl/Aya) - (ii) (a) Two years work experience in respective trades; Or (b) One year Certificate Course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; or (c) Two years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade. (iii) Must qualify trade test. Note: Multi-skilled candidates will be given preference

Age Limit: (As on 13.03.2023)

1. SI/Staff Nurse - 21-30 years

2. ASI/Dental Technician - 18 and 25 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 1. SI/Staff Nurse - Level – 6, Rs.35,400 - 1,12,400/-

2. ASI/Dental Technician - Level – 5, Rs.29,200 – 92,300/-

3. ASI/Lab Technician - Level – 5, Rs.29,200 – 92,300/-

4. Junior X-Ray Assistant (Head Constable) - Level – 4, Rs.25,500 – 81,100/-

5. Constable (Table Boy) - Level – 3, Rs.21,700 – 69,100/-

6.  CT (Ward Boy/Ward Girl/Aya) - Level – 3, Rs.21,700 – 69,100/-

 

BSF Para Medical Staff Selection Process 2023:

BSF may follow the following process to select the candidates.

1. Written Exam

2. Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Documentation, Practical/Trade Test & Medical Examination and ReMedical Examination

 

Application Fee/Exam Fee for BSF Para Medical Staff: 

Candidates to pay Rs 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) for the post of SI(Staff Nurse) and to pay Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for the all Group-‗C‘ posts as examination fee plus Rs 47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC) through following payment modes:- (i) Net banking of any bank. (ii) Credit/Debit Card of any bank. (iii) Nearest authorised Common Service Centre NOTE :- (i) Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee. (ii) Payment of examination will be accepted only through Online mode (iii) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. (iv) In case of non-receipt of examination fee from the candidates of non-exempted categories, their form will not be accepted.
