post (Erstwhile Group-D) in Level-1 of VIIth CPC Pay Matrix in Integral Coach

ICF Sports Person Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
Minimum
Qualification: 10th pass or ITI or equivalent
or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. Minimum
norms for recruitment of sportspersons: Represented the country in any of the Championships/Events: i) Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category), ii) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), iii) South Asian Federations Games (Senior Category), iv) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). v) World University Games. (OR) At least 3rd Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior
category). (OR) Represented a State or Equivalent unit, with at least 8th position in
Senior National Championships. In addition
to the above, candidates possessing the undermentioned sports norms are also
eligible to apply. Represented the country in Champions Trophy (Hockey) (OR) Atleast 3rd position in Youth/Junior National Championships. (OR) At least 3rd Position in National games organized under the aegis of
Indian Olympics Association. (OR) Atleast 3rd position in All India University Championships organized
under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR) Participation in Senior/ U-23/ U-19 All India Senior Inter-Zonal
Championship (Cricket) Candidates
possessing higher Sports norms over those prescribed above are also eligible
to apply. Note: i. The sports achievements on or after 01.04.2020 upto 12.02.2023
(Date of issue of Notification) shall only be considered for this
recruitment. ii. For validity of sports achievement, the
concluding day of the Championship / event shall be taken into account. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

ICF Sports Person Selection Process 2023:
ICF may follow the
following process to select the candidates.
|
- Only
candidates who fulfill the Eligibility Criteria will be subjected to the
selection process. Selection will consist of Trial followed by a Personal
Interview. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates when
they are called for the selection process. |
Application
Fee/Exam Fee for ICF Sports Person:
|
Candidates applying for the posts in response to this Notification have
to pay the prescribed Fee as below payable in the form of Demand Draft /
Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO/ICF payable at Chennai. i) Fee of ₹ 500/- for all candidates, except the Fee concession categories
mentioned at Sl.No ii) Fee ₹ 250/- for candidates
belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD),
Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes with a provision for
refunding the same, duly deducting bank charges, if any, to those candidates
appearing in the Trials. (Original Community / Relevant Certificates in the
prescribed annexure should be provided at the time of document verification
for fee exemption). |
How to apply
for ICF Sports Person Post:
- If a candidate is applying
for more than one Game/Event, the candidate should submit separate application
enclosing separate DD/IPO for each game.
- Applications should be
strictly in the prescribed format as appended.
- The application format is
also available in the ICF website https://pb.icf.gov.in
- The specific position played
in the particular discipline, if applicable should be mentioned in the
application without fail.
- One passport size photograph
should be pasted on the application form at the space specified.
- Along with the filled-in
application form an IPO or Demand Draft for an amount of ₹500/- (or) ₹ 250/-
(as applicable) should be enclosed.
- Self-Attested legible
photocopies of the following documents should also be enclosed along with the
application.
i) Proof of prescribed
Educational Qualification (Mark sheets/certificates) as per notification and
higher qualifications (Graduation / Post graduation), if any.
ii) Proof of Technical Qualification
(if any).
iii) Proof of Date of Birth
{Birth Certificate or Std X mark list}.
iv) Transfer Certificate
/School Leaving Certificate (last studied).
v) SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD
certificate in the format as prescribed in the Annexures of Notification.
vi) Department / Government
service candidates must enclose a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer.
vii) Copies of certificates of
essential sports achievements as prescribed in para 4 above.
Viii) Certificates in languages
other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation in
English / Hindi.
- Application in the prescribed
format, complete in all respects along with the enclosures should be sent to
the following address, in a cover, duly superscribing.
"APPLICATION FOR SPORTS

should be written in Block letters duly
mentioning the category applied for. The envelope should be addressed to the
