Educational Qualification: (As on)

1. Project Scientist – II (ECE / E&I) - M.E./M.Tech. in
Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Applied Electronics/ VLSI
Design/ Embedded system design/ Instrumentation & Control/Communication
systems from a recognized university or institute. With Three years’
experience in Research & Development, Survey / Planning, supervision or
training in the relevant field. |

2. Project Scientist – II (Life Science) - Ph.D./M.Tech., in
marine microbiology / algae / fin fish culture/Ballast water treatment/
biotechnology from a recognized university or institute With Three years’
experience in Research & Development in the fields of marine microbes /
marine algal / marine fish culture / Ballast water treatment. |

3. Project Scientist – II (Naval Architect /
Ocean Engineering) - M.E./M.Tech. in Ocean Engineering/ Ocean
Technology/ Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from a recognized
University / Institute with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree
level. With Three years experience in Research & Development, industry
and/or the area of work as per the job requirement. |

assembly, integration, testing, and field operations, Maintenance of
mechanical systems at R&D Institute, Industry and /or the area of work as

experience (after obtaining essential educational qualification) in Research
and Development in the area listed in job requirement. Should be capable of
carrying out preparatory works in the laboratory for research and development
pertaining to marine microbes and participation in scientific cruise / and field
work. Bachelor’s degree in
Marine Biology/ Aquaculture / Zoology / Botany from a recognized University /

20.Project Technician(Fitter) - 10th standard
with two years ITI Tradesman Course in Fitter approved by National Council
for Vocational Training or its equivalent from recognized Institutions. Basic
reading of Engineering drawing, Desirable: Basic knowledge in
manufacturing tools and process. Two years experience in assembly of
mechanical systems |

21.Project Technician(Mechanical) - 10th standard with
two years ITI Tradesman Course in DraftsmanMechanical approved by National
Council for Vocational Training or its equivalent from recognized
Institutions. Desirable: Two years Experience in ACAD,
2D and 3D is desirable. / Knowledge in 3D Modelling software such as
Inventor, Solid works 10th standard with
two years ITI Tradesman Course in Machinist approved by National Council for
Vocational Training or its equivalent from recognized Institutions. Desirable: Two years Experience in
Turning, drilling, surface grinding and milling trouble shooting and
maintenance work at industries / R&D. Experience in assembly, integration
and testing of mechanical systems and rotating machinery and in hydraulic

two years ITI Tradesman Course in Draftsman-Civil approved by National
Council for Vocational Training or its equivalent from a recognized

by National Council for Vocational Training or its equivalent from a
recognized Institutions. Desirable: Two years work experience in
Operation /maintenance of electronics equipments. Wiring, assembly and
integration of control panels and circuit boards. Instrumentation cable
glanding, termination. Calibration and erection of sensors. Handling of
instrumentation and control, data acquisition systems. |

2. The registration for the walk in interview/ Test will starts
from 8:00 a.m.–10.00 a.m on the scheduled dates for the posts at National
Institute of Ocean Technology, Pallikaranai, Chennai.
3. Interview will be from 10:00 a.m. onwards. Test will commence
by 10.30 AM.
