RWF Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
The candidates willing to undergo training under the Apprentices' Act,
1961, in this Factory, must have passed 10th class examination or its
equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks, from recognized Boards, as on
the date of issue of Notification and also possess National Trade Certificate
(NTC) in the designated trade in which this administration is imparting
training, issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). The
training in the designated trades of Fitter, Machinist Mechanic Motor
Vehicle, Turner, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic will be for a period of
one year. Whereas the period of training for COE Group (CNC
Programming-cum-Operator), is for a period of six months. Training will be
arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the
Central Apprenticeship Council. |
Age Limit:
|
Age limit as on The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and
should not have completed 24 years as on 21.01.2023, which is the cutoff date
for receiving applications. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in
case of SC/ST candidates and 03 years in case of OBC candidates as per extant
instructions of Railway Board and as amended from to time. The candidates who
want to avail the benefit of reservation of SC/ST, must produce his/her caste
certificate on Govt. of India format issued by appropriate authority as per
Annexure-B. Similarly, the candidates who want to avail the benefit of
reservation of OBC, must produce caste certificate and Non-Creamy Layer
Certificate issued on or after 01.07.2022 on Govt. of India format by
appropriate authority as per Annexure-C. |
Salary Details:
|
During their period of apprenticeship training in this Factory, the
candidates undergoing training in the trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic
(Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic will be paid a
stipend of Rs.12,261/- per month, while for CNC Programming-cum-Operator, a
stipend of Rs.10,899/- per month, will be paid as per extant rules amended
from time to time. |

Fee/Exam Fee for RWF Apprentice:
|
The candidates are required to enclose an Indian Postal Order/Demand
Draft from any Nationalised Bank of Rs.100/- as processing fee, drawn in
favour of 'Principal Financial Adviser/Rail Wheel Factory,' along with
application form, which is not refundable. No fee is required to be paid by
SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Women candidates. Applications not accompanied
with processing fee, wherever required, will be summarily rejected.
Candidates may please note that these instruments should not have been issued
earlier to the date of issue of this Notification. |
How to apply
for RWF Apprentice Post:
Application (Annexure-A) duly
filled-in all respects can either be dropped in the sealed Drop Box kept in the
Office of the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Personnel Department, Rail
Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064 on all the working days i.e, from
Monday to Friday between 09:00 hrs to 16:50 hrs. and Saturday between 09:00
hrs. to 12:20 hrs. or sent by REGISTERED POST only to the below mentioned address
duly superscribing on the cover as "Application for undergoing training
under the Apprentices' Act, 1961 for the year 2022-23 in Rail Wheel
Factory" with the enclosures in Annexures. Applications should be
submitted to this office before 17:00 hrs. of the closing date i.e., 20.02.2023
addressing to,
