ICMR-VCRC Field Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Junior
Medical Officer - MBBS degree from a
recognized university Desirable Qualification: - Knowledge of NTEP & latest guidelines in TB management - Experience of working in community based projects - Knowledge of computer applications & statistical packages - Good communication skills & fluency in vernacular language |
|
2. Health
Assistant - High School* or equivalent with
five years’ work experience in health field from a Government Institution or
recognized Institute. *Intermediate with Science subjects and B.Sc., degree
shall be treated as 02 years’ & 03 years’ experience respectively Desirable Qualification: - Experience of working in community based research projects - Experience of working in TB program or related activities - Good communication skills - Fluency in Tamil |

3. Technician/Field
Assistant - High School* or equivalent with
five years’ work experience in health field from a Government Institution or
recognized Institute. *Intermediate with Science subjects and B.Sc., degree
shall be treated as 02 years’ & 03 years’ experience respectively Desirable Qualification: - Experience of working in community based research projects - Experience of working in TB program or related activities - Good communication skills - Fluency in Tamil |

4. Lab
Technician - 12th pass in science subjects with
any one of the following (i) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory
Technology (OR) (ii) One-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology +
One-year relevant experience in a Government recognized organization (OR) (iii)
Two years’ field/laboratory experience* in relevant field from a Government
recognized organization * B.Sc., degree shall be treated as 03 years’
experience Desirable Qualification: - Experience of working in community based research projects - Experience of working in TB program or related activities - Good communication skills - Fluency in Tamil |

5. X-ray
Technician - 12th pass in science subjects
with any one of the following (i) Two years Diploma in Radiology or
Radiography or related subject (OR) (ii) One-year Diploma in Radiology or
Radiography or related subject + One-year relevant experience in a Government
recognized organization (OR) (iii) Two years’ field/laboratory experience* in
relevant field from a Government recognized organization * B.Sc., degree

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

Salary Details:
