ICMR-NIMR DEO Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
|
1. Scientist ‘C’ (Non Medical) (Public
Engagement) - Essential Qualifications: Candidate should
possess 1st class Masters Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized
university with 4 years experience OR 2nd class M.Sc +Ph.D degree in Life
Science subject from a recognized university with 4 years experience. Desirable Qualification: Peer reviewed
scientific papers published in international journals would be a plus point.
Candidate should possess a Ph.D degree in Life Sciences subjects. Preference
will be given to those who have experience of working in vector borne
diseases especially malaria. Strong scientific writing and verbal skill are
required. Three letters of recommendation will need to be submitted. Research
publications in peer-reveiwed journals. |

2. Scientist ‘D’ (Non Medical) – Essential Qualifications: Candidate should
possess 1st class Masters Degree in Biostatics from a recognized university
with 8 years experience OR 2nd class M.Sc.+ Ph.D degree in Biostatics from a
recognized university with 8 years experience. Desirable Qualification:
The candidates having experience in communicable diseases shall be preferred.
Candidate should possess a Ph.D degree in the field of Biostatics with good
analytical and writing skills. The candidate having understanding of Public
Health in context of malaria would be preferred. Strong scientific writing
and verbal skill are required. Three letters of recommendation will need to
be submitted. |

3. Data Entry Operator (Grade-B) – Essential Qualifications: Intermediate or 12th
pass in Science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized
institute and/or 2 years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous,
PSU or any other recognized organization. A speed test of not less than 8000
key depressions per hour through speed test on computer. • Expertise in using
graphic designing software (Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator) Desirable Qualification: • Experience in
maintaining websites. • Experience in MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc. • Experience
in Data Management. |

4. Project Research Scientist II – Essential Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class Masters
Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology from a recognized University with two
years’ experience in any research laboratory. OR 2nd Class Master’s Degree in
Life Sciences/Biotechnology with Ph.D in Life Sciences/Biotechnology subject
from a recognized University. Desirable: Experience in research
laboratory in Govt., autonomous, PSU etc. recognized organization. Experience
in molecular biology like PCR, RT PCR. |

5. Data Entry Operator - Grade A – Essential Qualification: Intermediate or
12th pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key
depressions per hour through speed test on computer. |

Interested and eligible candidates possessing the aforementioned
Essential Qualification only may appear for Walk-in-Interview in the Institute
with all Original and self-attested copies of all certificate/testimonials and
valid identity proof (Voter ID card/ PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar
Card) and one passport size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear
in the Interview without the Original Certificates.
