The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

HQ Southern Command CSBO Selection Process 2023:
(a) Written Test. The
written Test will comprise of four parts as given below: Part-I General
Intelligence & Reasoning (Objective Multiple Choice Type) Part - II General
Awareness (Objective Multiple Choice Type) Part - III General English
(Objective Multiple Choice Type) Part – IV Numerical Aptitude (Objective
Multiple Choice Type) Note :-
The question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. However, the
question of English Language subject will be in English only. No extra
weightage will be given for additional/ extra/ higher qualification for
recruitment.
(b) Skill Test. Skill test will be
conducted to check candidate’s proficiency in handling exchange operation and
this will be conducted for qualifying purpose only. Selection will be made
strictly on the basis of merit of written test subject to candidate qualifying
in the skill test. (c) If the number of applications received in response to
the advertisement are large and it is not convenient or possible to arrange the
examination for all the candidates, the selection board reserves the right to
restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of
percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed minimum essential qualification
i.e Matric or equivalent.
How to apply
for HQ Southern Command CSBO Post:
- Applications completed in all
respects along with all the requisite documents, duly attested be forwarded to
‘The Officer-in-Charge, Southern Command Signal Regiment, Pune (Maharashtra),
PIN-411001’.
- Application will be forwarded
by post/ speed post/ registered post only in an envelope. The candidates must
clearly super-scribe “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CSBO GRADE-II” on the top of
the envelope in capital letters. The reserved category candidates should also
write their category on the left hand corner of the envelope. No application
submitted by hand will be entertained.
- Candidates applying for the
post must enclose following supporting documents:
(i) Self attested Birth Certificate
(Matriculation Certificate/ Mark Sheet can be produced in lieu).
(ii) Educational Certificate
(Matriculation Passing Certificate and Marksheet). (iii) Experience
Certificate.
(iv) Residential Certificate.
(v) Domicile Certificate.
(vi) Aadhar Card.
(vii) Certificate in prescribed
format in support of their claim of belonging to the reserve category. For
Ex-servicemen category copy of discharge certificate.
(viii) No Objection Certificate
from present employer (if the applicant is already a Government servant).
(ix) Two self-addressed
envelopes (minimum 12 x 24 cms) duly affixed with postage stamp of Rs 25/- on
each envelope for intimation of written test without which application will not
be accepted.
