UCSL Assistant General Manager Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Assistant
General Manager (Design) – Educational
qualification/Experience Essential: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Naval
Architecture with minimum 60 % marks. 15 years of Managerial Experience in a
Shipyard/ Ship Design house/government department related to marine
engineering of ship design/ Design of offshore installations and
platforms/Plan Approval department of classification societies, etc out of
which at least recent 7 years should be as Team lead, with both technical and
administrative functions in Design department itself. (Please note that this
7 years of Managerial experience in other disciplines of above
industries/departments will not be considered as sufficient to qualify for
this post) Hands on experience in 3D ship design software’s like Neupas Cad
Matic, Aviva, Proficiency in in AutoCAD. Educational
Qualification/Experience Desirable: Post graduate degree in Engineering/Naval Architecture/Management
Experience in working in a SAP environment. |

2. Deputy
Manager (Electrical Design) – Educational
Qualification: Essential: 1. Degree in
Electrical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized
University. 2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and in ship design software like
Tribon/Newpas Cadmatic etc. Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications
like AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, Primavera etc. Experience:
Essential: i) Minimum of 6 years post
qualification managerial experience for candidates with qualification 1 above
At least recent four years of experience should be in a Shipyard/ Ship Design
house/government department related to marine engineering or ship design/
Design of offshore installations and platforms/Plan Approval department of
classification societies, etc (Please note that this four years of recent
experience in other disciplines of above industries/departments will not be
considered as sufficient to qualify for this post) Candidates working in
PSUs/ Government / Autonomous bodies in the regular cadre, should have one
year experience in the immediate lower scale of pay Desirable: Experience of working in an ERP/ SAP/ computerized environment. Good
communication skills and working knowledge in English/ Hindi /Kannada. |

UCSL Assistant General Manager Selection Process 2023:
The method of selection
for the post of Executives shall be through Power Point Presentation and
Personal Interview. The weightages are assigned to the following parameters for
the final selection:
- Work Experience - 80%
weightage
- Personal Interview -
20% weightage
Total - 100 Marks
