UPSC Assistant Soil Conservation Officer Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
1. Assistant
Soil Conservation Officer – Educational: Master’s Degree in Agronomy or
Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil
Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agriculture
Botany or; Master’s Degree in Botany or Forestry or Bachelor’s Degree in
Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Experience: Possessing three years
experience in the field of soil and water conservation or soil health
management or rainfed or integrated farming and soil survey or problem soil
reclamation and project formulation including agro-forestry projects in
Central or State Government Department or Union Territory Administration or
recognized research institution or Agricultural University or Public Sector
undertaking or Semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organization |
2. Additional
Assistant Director (Safety) – Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical or Marine
or Production or Industrial or Instrumentation or Civil Engineering or
Architecture or Textile or Textile Chemistry or Textile Technology or Computer
Science or Electronics & Communication of a recognized University
/Institutes, and Experience: One year experience in handling various aspects of industrial safety
in a factory, dock, ship, construction site or physical and chemical testing
of textiles in an industrial concern or research laboratory or a technical
institution or organization or in a government department dealing with the
administration of Factories Act 1948 (63 of 1948) or the Dock Workers
(Safety, Health & Welfare) Act 1986 (54 of 1986) or the Building and
other construction workers (regulation of employment conditions of services)
Act 1996 (27 of 1996). DESIRABLE: Experience in planning, organising and
coordinating of research, education and training activities pertaining to industrial
safety, construction safety and dock safety. |
3. Scientist
‘B’ (Toxicology) – Educational: Master Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmacology or
Pharmacy or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects during all
the three years of bachelor of Science from a recognised University or
institute; Experience: Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in
the field of Toxicology from a government recognised orgnization or
institution. Desirable: One year experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory under
the Central or State Government or Union Territory administration after
obtaining the minimum prescribed educational qualifications |
4. Supervisor
Inclusive Education District – Educational: (i) Master Degree from recognized university. (ii) B.Ed (Special Education) OR B.Ed (General Education) with one year
Diploma in Special Education or Two years Diploma in Special Education or
Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education OR B.Ed (General
Education) and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education OR
PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) OR PG Diploma in Special
Education (Multiple Disability: Physical and Neurological) OR PG Diploma in
Special Education (Locomotor impairment and Cerebral Palsy) OR Secondary
Level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment OR Senior Diploma in
Teaching the Deaf OR BA B.Ed in Visual Impairment (iii) Registration with Rehabillitation Council of India (RCI). Experience: Three years’ experience in the Field of Special Education or
Inclusive Education for Children With Disabilities. Desirable: Ph.D in Special Education from a recognized university or Institute. |

(a) Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability
Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of
Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any
branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by
using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. (b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No
"fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and
they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and
