Anna University Project Associate Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Scientist (WGIS-PS) –
Essential Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geomatics/ CSE or equivalent
Experience: 1year experience in Development of Web based GIS system is desirable

2. Project Associate –II (WGIS-P2) –
Essential Educational Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech. Remote Sensing & Geomatics/ Geomatics or equivalent with B.E./B.Tech. Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg/CSE/ IT or equivalent
Experience: 1 Year Working experience & Knowledge in GIS Web Portal design is desirable

3. Project Associate –I (WGIS-P1) –
Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/ IT/ Geoinformatics
Experience: 1 year working experience in GIS & knowledge of Web Programming is desirable

4. Project Associate –I (WGIS-C1) –
Essential Educational Qualification: M.C.A./ M.Sc. Computer Science M.Sc. Geoinformatics / B.E. Geoinformatics
Experience: 1 year working experience in GIS is desirable

5. Project Associate-I (BGIS-PA1) –
Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg or M.Sc. in Computer Science / Geography/ Geology or Equivalent
Experience: At least 6 month experience in Landuse Mapping or GPS based data collection is desirable

6. Technical Assistant (BGIS-TA) –
Essential Educational Qualification: H.S.C. or Equivalent/ Diploma in Engg
Experience: At least 6 month experience in GPS based data collection GPS based systems is desirable

7. Research Associate (RCG-RA) –
Essential Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or having 3 years of research, training and design & development experience after M.E./M.Tech. in Geodesy/ Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & Geomatics or equivalent
Experience: At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

8. Junior Research Fellow (RCG-JRF) –
Essential Educational Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Geodesy/ Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & Geomatics or equivalent with B.E./B.Tech Geoinformatics/Civil Engg. Selected through CSIR-UGC, GATE and national level examinations conducted by GOI agencies/institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc
Experience: Candidates if selected has to appear and secure Ph.D. admission in Anna University within 6 months. The topic for proposed research shall be in Geodesy

9. RCG-SE –
Essential Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg or Equivalent or Diploma in Civil/ECE/EEE/CSE or equivalent with
Experience: At least 1 Year experience for B.E degree holders / At least 3 years of experience in Maintenance of Geodesy equipment for Diploma Holders is desirable

Salary Details:

1. Project Scientist (WGIS-PS) – Rs.70,000/-

2. Project Associate –II (WGIS-P2) – Rs. 37,000/-

3. Project Associate –I (WGIS-P1) – Rs. 25,000/-

4. Project Associate –I (WGIS-C1) – Rs.20,000/-

5. Project Associate-I (BGIS-PA1) – Rs. 25,000/-

6. Technical Assistant (BGIS-TA) – Rs.15,000/-

7. Research Associate (RCG-RA) – Rs.49,000+ HRA

8. Junior Research Fellow (RCG-JRF) – (i)Rs. 31,000 + HRA for the first two years and for Rs. 35,000 + HRA for the third year those (i) who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or qualified through National Examination of Government Department/Agencie s. (ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above category

9. RCG-SE – Rs. 25,000/- + HRA
