Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Public Relations Officer
Essential: First class Post graduate degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Management or equivalent. Minimum 5 Years’ experience in the fields of Administration/ Public Relation activities of an organization including conducting meetings/ programmes, issuing press releases and handling hospitality needs.
Desirable: Knowledge of Government rules and experience of working at the supervisory level in Government funded academic institutions like IITs, IISc, IISERs, NITs etc. or in a reputed private organization. Candidates should have desirable leadership quality and requisite experience in the following areas: i. Media Management (Including Social & Digital Media) ii. Content Writing (Media Releases, Annual Reports, Brochure, and Other Institutional Reports) iii. Institutional Ranking (NIRF, QS and ARIIA) iv. Video Making and Interviews v. Internal Communications vi. Brand Building vii. Database Management
2. Technical Superintendent Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering –
Essential:
i. First Class BTech/BE in Metallurgical Engineering/ Material Science/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronics / Instrumentation, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR MSc in Physics/ Chemistry, and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
ii. Experience in Operation and maintenance of materials processing/ characterization/ testing.
Desirable: i. Operation and maintenance of various furnaces such as induction melting/ arc-melting furnaces/ spark plasma sintering furnaces/ hot press/ heat treatment furnaces, etc. ii. Electron microscopes (SEM/TEM)/Thermal Analysis Equipment such as DSC/DTA/TGA, etc. iii. Sample preparation, Polishing, metallography works/ cutting tools/ EDM wire cutting, etc. iv. Material Testing equipment such as Universal Testing Machine/ Hardness/ Impact tester/ Creep/ Nano-Indenter/ Rolling/ forging/ extrusion, etc. v. Foundry/metal casting/moulding etc., and/ or XRD/ AFM/ UV/ Sputtering/ Pulse laser deposition, etc.
3. Technical Superintendent – Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) –
Essential: First-class ME/MTech in Geotechnical Engineering with at least 3 year of relevant experience OR First-class BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Desirable: i. Field supervision of drilling, testing and data collections activities. ii. Demonstrating experiments to UG and PG level students iii. Ensuring maintenance of all the Geotechnical engineering labs. iv. Preventive maintenance & follow up for the Repair of the Geotechnical Engineering lab equipment. v. Tendering process of lab equipment’s & consumables for conducting the experiments. vi. Maintenance of the high-end equipment in Advanced Geotechnical Engineering Labs. vii. Calibration of LVDTs, Earth pressure cells and Installation of the of DAQs. viii. Providing training to all the Undergraduate & post Graduate students to handle the Geotechnical Engineering lab equipment. ix. Preparation of the lab manuals for UG & PG experiments.
4. Technical Superintendent – Computer Science and Engineering –
Essential: First Class BTech/BE/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience on network/system administration/ engineering or software/web development activities, OR First Class MTech/ME/MS in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics.
Desirable: i. CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCIE/CCDE/CCAr certification from Cisco or Windows/Linux/Unix System Administration/ Architect certification from LPI/Red Hat/Oracle/ Microsoft/AWS. ii. Experience in cloud platforms like open stack, docker, Kubernetes, SLURM. i. Strong Written and Oral Communication skills.
5. Technical Superintendent – Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics and Power Systems) –
Essential: First Class MTech/ME in Power Electronics/Power Systems or related specialization, OR First Class BTech/BE in Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the area of Power Electronics/Power Systems.
Desirable: i. Strong communication skills, and ii. Strong programming skills with proficiency in C/Python/LabViEW, MATLAB, and/or Familiarity with application software like PSS/E, PSCAD, Power World Simulator, DigSilent, FPGA & DSP Programming, Network Programming.
6. Section Officer –
Essential: i. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA. ii. At least 5 years’ experience out of which at least 3 years’ experience in Pay Level-6 or equivalent under the Central or State Government/Central Autonomous or Statutory bodies/Central or State Universities/PSU in the field of Administration/ Academic/ Stores & Purchase/HR/ Establishment/Finance & Accounts/ R&D/Hostels/legal services/ Student activities/ Material Management.
Desirable: i. Command in communication and drafting skills in English Language. ii. Knowledge of Computer Applications like word process, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.
7. Junior Psychological Counsellor (Male) –
Essential: i. Masters degree in Clinical Psychology /Counselling Psychology with a percentage of minimum 60%. ii. 02 years’ relevant experience in counselling late adolescents and adults in an Academic Institution/ hospital setting or any other mental health clinic. iii. Additional Qualification: Administrative experience in establishing, and managing Counselling services, document keeping, & MS Office. iv. The candidate should have excellent communication skills.
Desirable: i. An experience in counselling students in Academic institutions full-time or part-time. ii. Have been conducting workshops/knowledgebased sessions. Note: i. Relevant experience is defined as psychological counselling experience in a mental health clinic or Educational Institution wherein individual counselling, as well as group counselling, has been provided for adolescents. ii. The appointee may be required to stay on campus as per the requirement of the Institute.
8. Executive Assistant –
Essential: i. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA. ii. At least 5 years of experience in the field of Administration/ Academic/ Stores &Purchase/ HR/ Establishment/ Finance & Accounts/ R&D/ Hostels/ legal services/ Student activities/ Material Management.
Desirable: Working knowledge of computer applications
9. Physiotherapist (Male) –
Essential: i. First-class bachelor’s degree in physical therapy with at least five years of relevant experience. OR First-class master’s degree in physical therapy with at least three years of experience of relevant experience. Note: In both cases the candidate (male only) must have at least a first class in all the professional degrees (bachelors or bachelors and masters).
10. Staff Nurse –
Essential: i. Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent and must have passed the examination of 3-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with 1st class or equivalent grade held by Nursing Council. ii. 5 years of relevant experience in the hospital of Govt./Semi Govt./ Central autonomous bodies/ reputed hospitals. iii. Valid Registration with Nursing Council
Desirable: i. Possessing a degree in Nursing may be given preference. ii. Working knowledge of computer applications. iii. Nurses with at least two years of work experience in ICU/ICCU/Casualty/Post OP, paediatric and neonatal experiences like trained in administration of vaccination, primary newborn care, worked in PICU/ NICU. Note: The appointee in the post is expected to perform his/her duties in shifts as per the Institute’s requirements.
11. Physical Training Instructor –
Essential: i. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA along with bachelor’s degree in physical education (BPEd) or Sports Science or its equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or 4-year bachelor’s degree in physical education with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA. ii. At least 2 years of full-time coaching experience in a recognized university/Institute in Cricket/ Badminton/Tennis/ Squash/ Weightlifting. iii. Participated in senior-national/interuniversity/nationals/state in Cricket/ Badminton/ Tennis/ Squash/ Weightlifting. OR i. Master’s Degree (full time) in Physical Education/ Sports Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade/ CGPA. ii. at least 1 year of full-time coaching experience in a recognized university/Institute in Cricket/ Badminton/ Tennis/ Squash/ Weightlifting. iii. Participated in senior-national/interuniversity/nationals/state in Cricket/ Badminton/ Tennis/ Squash/ Weightlifting.
Desirable: i. Diploma in sports coaching from NSNIS. ii. at least one year of work experience in Govt. Autonomous Bodies or University or College. iii. Medal winners in senior-national/interuniversity/nationals/state games. 12. Library Information Assistant –
Essential: i. First Class master’s degree in library science/information science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree. ii. At least 3 years of professional experience in a Library in CFTI/State/Autonomous or statuary organization/PSU/ University or recognized research or educational Institution. iii. Working knowledge of Library Management Software(s).
Desirable: i. PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking/ PG Diploma Computer Applications in Library or equivalent ii. Knowledge of the ILMS and the understanding of evolving Information and Communication Technologies relevant to libraries. Note: The appointee in the post is expected to perform his/her duties in shifts as per the Institute’s requirements.
13. Junior Engineer (Civil) –
Essential: i. First class BE/BTech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, and ii. At least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience shall be in any state/central government organizations/private large construction firms of National and International repute.
14. Junior Engineer (Electrical) –
Essential: i. First class BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institution and ii. With at least 03 years of relevant experience. The experience shall be in any Central/State government organizations/ Central PSU/ State PSU/Central PWD/State PWD/ State/Central Engineering departments/Central or State Govt. undertakings/Central Govt. Autonomous Bodies/Institutions/ Private firms of National and International repute.
Desirable: Knowledge of drafting software like Auto CAD, and latest Construction Management or other relevant software. Should have computer literacy and experience of working with computer office applications
15. Junior Technical Superintendent – Artificial Intelligence –
Essential: i. BE/BTech in CSE/EE/ECE/IT with CGPA >=8. ii. Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Industry as developer/web developer role.
Desirable: i. Hands-on experience in website development and maintenance. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL. ii. Hands-on experience in Linux system administration, HPC cluster management, SLURM/any other workload management systems, Job scheduling, Storage management and knowledge in SAN, NAS storage systems, Network file system, Networking and security management of switches, Shell scripting, Opensource software installations, ability to troubleshoot the issues and other data centre activities. Good knowledge in power, UPSs, airconditioning, and other facilities in the data centres. iii. Strong written and oral communication skills.
16. Junior Technical Superintendent – Central Workshop – Mechanical –
Essential: First class BE/BTECH in Mechanical/ Production/ Mechatronics with at least three years of relevant experience. OR First class Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Mechatronics with at least six years of relevant experience. OR First class ITI in Machinist/ Turner/ Fitter/ Tool & die design/ Electronics/Mechatronics with at least ten years of relevant experience.
Desirable: i. Experience in CAD/CAM Softwares, Solid Edge, CNC programming, Tool and Die Design, Operation of CNC Five axis, three axis vertical milling centre and lathe. ii. Operation and maintenance of heavy machinery. iii. Experience in teaching of lab practices for under graduates in Machining, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Welding and fabrication works.
17. Junior Technical Superintendent – Computer Centre –
Essential: i. First class BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent or MCA from a recognised University/Institute of repute and at least 2 years’ experience in software/web development activities at a reputed organization/ institute. ii. Hands on working experience and strong background knowledge in MVC frameworks, Web development frameworks (like Spring), PHP, Python, Java technologies, HTML5, JSON, Java script frontend frameworks like jQuery, React, Angular etc. iii. Extensive experience in database administration and proficient with MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, RDBMS databases.
Desirable: Contribute in all phases of the software development life cycle – requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation
18. Junior Technical Superintendent – Computer Science and Engineering – Essential: i. BE/BTech/MCA/MSc in CSE/EE/ECE/IT. ii. Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Industry as developer/web developer role OR i. ME/MTech in CSE/EE/ECE/IT. ii. Minimum 1 year experience in IT Industry as developer/web developer role.

Bachelors’ Degree/Diploma in Design or Degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Fine arts and other relevant areas with minimum 2 years of experience OR Master’s Degree or Post-Graduate or Diploma in Engineering. ii. The candidate should have demonstrated expertise in one of the areas mentioned below: (a) Animation / film/ photography (b) Wood/Metal/ Ceramic studio (c) VR/AR/MR/UI/UX/ Interaction Design studio
Desirable: Experience in any of the following areas: i. Animation /Film/ Photography: Animation, Film Editing, Photography, Videography, Sound editing ii. Wood Metal and Ceramic Studio: 3D printing and prototyping /fabrication, CNC, CAD/CAM, ceramic processing iii. Desirable: PCB board design, soldering & ESD, High-end chip characterization & instrument handling, Chip characterization knowledge, Scripting knowledge, Hands on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, waveform analyzer, programmable FPGAs, System and network administration skills with proficiency in programming and scripting, Configuration and in-depth understanding of EDA and TCAD tools
21. Junior Technical Superintendent-Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Mechanical:
Essential: ITI in (Turner/Machinist) with minimum 10 years of experience OR Diploma in mechanical/production/aerospace/aeronautics /automobile/ manufacturing/equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production/aerospace/ aeronautics/ manufacturing/ automobile/equivalent with 3 years experience. OR MTech in design/thermal/fluid/manufacturing /aerospace/ aeronautics / production/automobile /CADCAM/equivalent with 2 years experience. Desirable: Knowledge of CAD, equipment operation, equipment purchase and installation, equipment maintenance, instrumentation, CNC machine tool operation, data acquisition, computer operation.
Electrical:
Essential: – Diploma in mechatronics/instrumentation/controls/ electrical/ electronics and communication with a minimum 5 years OR Bachelors’ Degree in mechatronics/instrumentation/controls/ electrical /electronics and communication with 3 years experience OR MTech in embedded systems/mechatronics/instrumentation/ controls with 2 years experience Note: In case of diploma/bachelor’s, should have worked in mechanical labs/department for at least two years. Essential: First Class BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering OR FirstClass Diploma in Chemical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in relevant area.

33. Junior Technician – Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering)

Ensuring maintenance of all the Geotechnical engineering labs. iv. Preventive maintenance & follow up for the Repair of the Geotechnical Engineering lab equipment. v. Tendering process of lab equipment’s & consumables for conducting the experiments. vi. Maintenance of the high-end equipment in Advanced Geotechnical Engineering Labs. vii. Calibration of LVDTs, Earth pressure cells and Installation of the of DAQs. viii. Providing training to all the Undergraduate & post Graduate students to handle the Geotechnical Engineering lab equipment’s. ix. Preparation of the lab manuals for UG & PG experiments.
34. Junior Technician – Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering)
Essential: First Class BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Communication technology with at least 1 year of experience in relevant area OR First-Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Communication technologies with at least 3 years of experience in relevant area.
Desirable: i. Experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic and electrical devices. ii. Working knowledge of integrated circuits, digital electronics, power systems, AC and DC circuits and appliances. iii. Good physical dexterity to work with heavy and sensitive equipment. iv. Calibration of LVDTs, Load cells, and Installation of DAQs. v. Good written and oral communication skills.
35. Junior Technician – Computer Centre (Electrical)
Essential: First class BE/BTech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering with at least 1 years of experience. OR First Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in LT equipment. OR First Class ITI in Electrician Trade with at least 5 years of experience in Operation, and maintenance & troubleshooting of DG sync panel, AMF Panel, Distribution box in the Data Centre and metering and maintenance of LT power distribution system, UPS System, DG set and PDUs.
Desirable: Hands-on experience in Cooling system like HVAC system, chiller cooling system etc, BMS (Building management system) like Fire Suppression system etc.
36. Junior Technician – Computer Centre (Networking)
Essential: First Class BTech/BE/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics, with at least 1 years of hands-on experience on network administration/engineering. OR First Class Diploma in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics with at least 3 years of experience.
Desirable: CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCIE/CCDE/CCAr certification from Cisco.
37. Junior Technician – Computer Science and Engineering
Essential: First Class BTech/BE/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics, with at least 2 years of experience in the relevant area.
Desirable: i. CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCIE/CCDE/CCAr certification from Cisco or Windows/Linux/Unix System Administration/Architect certification from LPI/Red Hat/Oracle/Microsoft/AWS. ii. Hands-on experience in website development and maintenance. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL. iii. Strong written and oral communication skills. iv. Familiarity with Linux OS.
38. Junior Technician – Construction and Maintenance Division (Draughtsman- Civil)
Essential: i. SSLC/SSC/Matriculation and Possessing two years National Trade Certificate for Draughtsman (Civil) from a recognised Institute (ITI/ NTC/NAC -NCVT certificate in Draughtsman Civil trade). ii. Five years’ experience in any architectural/design office / construction offices in preparation of architectural drawings, structural drawings, shop drawings etc., using AutoCAD software.
39. Junior Technician – Electrical Engineering (Communications and Signal Processing).
Essential: First Class BTech in BTech in Electronics & Communications Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience OR First-Class Diploma of 3 years duration in the area of Communications/Signal processing and knowledge of computer applications with 2 years of relevant experience.
Desirable: Hands on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, waveform analyzer, programmable FPGAs, USRPs, and other communications and signal processing hardware.
40. Junior Technician – Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics & VLSI)
Essential: First Class BTech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience OR First-Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with at least 3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of computer applications with 2 years of relevant experience.
Desirable: PCB board design, soldering & ESD, High-end chip characterization & instrument handling, Chip characterization knowledge, Scripting knowledge, Hands on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, waveform analyzer, programmable FPGAs.
41. Junior Technician – Liberal Arts
Essential: i. Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law/ Business Administration along with knowledge of computer applications. ii. Needs to have good oral and written communication skills and IT knowhow (MSOffice, Management of Website), Data interpretation and collection. iii. Should be able to help in preparation of material for Department Brochures / Newsletters and data collection for ranking etc. iv. Should be able to support in coordinating with internal and external personnel, and also should be able to support in admission processes of postgraduate students.
Desirable: i. Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law along with knowledge of computer applications or MBA. ii. Should have excellent communication skills and basic technical skills to run equipment in labs such as Psychology Lab, Cognitive Science Lab, and Economics Lab.
42. Junior Technician – Material Science and Metallurgical Engineering
Essential: First Class Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science/ Mechanical, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Desirable: i. Experience in Operation and handling of various furnaces. ii. Experience in Sample preparation, Polishing, metallography works/ cutting tools/ EDM wire cutting, etc. iii. Handling and Operation of Material Testing equipment. iv. Experience on foundry/metal casting/moulding etc.
43. Junior Technician – Mathematics
Essential: B.Sc. (Computer Science)/Bachelor of Computer Application with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with at least 2 years of relevant experience such as Computer Hardware, Software, and Network troubleshooting.
Desirable: i. Working experience on Windows, Linux, and MAC OS. ii. Good communication skills. iii. Ability to work independently.
44. Junior Technician – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Biomechanics/Biophysics/ Biomedical)
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences/Life Sciences/Mechanical Engg with >50% (or CGPA 6), with minimum 4 years of experience. OR Master’s in Biomedical/Biomechanics/Biophysics /MSc in Biological sciences, with minimum 2 years of experience.
Note: In case of bachelor’s, should have handled wetlab for at least two years. In case of Master’s, should have handled wetlab for at least one year.
Desirable: i. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications. ii. Excellent communication skills in English/Hindi, Wet Lab handling (experience 2 years), FEM (optional).
45. Junior Technician – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical)
Essential: ITI in Turner/Fitter/Welder/Machinist/Automobile/ Mechanic (Diesel, Motor vehicle, Machine tool maintenance)/Refrigeration and Air Conditioning/ Production & Manufacturing with 6 years of relevant experience. OR Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Plastic Technology/Mechatronics/Aeronautical with 3 years of relevant experience. OR BTech in mechanical/production/aerospace/aeronautics /manufacturing/automobile with 1 year of relevant experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of equipment operation, CAD, equipment purchases and installation, equipment maintenance, instrumentation, CNC machine tool operation, data acquisition, computer operation.
46. Junior Technician – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Aero)
Essential: ITI in Aeronautics/Combustion/Controls with 6 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Aerospace/Aeronautics/Mechanical/ Combustion/Controls with 3 years of relevant experience OR BTech in Aerospace/Aeronautics/Automobile/ Mechanical with 1 year of relevant experience
Desirable: i. Expertise in handling high-pressure line operations, high-vacuum machinery, compressors, and vacuum pumps, and fitting, repair and maintenance of gas flow lines. ii. Expertise in high-voltage machinery, heavy-duty heat-exchanger operations and maintenance. iii. Expertise in intermittent wind tunnel operations (blow-down and in-draft vacuum), and model preparation and instrumentation. iv. Expertise in instrumentation of strain gauges, load cells, heat-flux gauges, pressure tapings, and velocimetry-related systems. v. Fundamental knowledge of operating systems, office software, and data handling.
47. Junior Technician – Physics
Essential: First Class BSc in Physics, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of Computer Applications. OR BTech (Engineering Physics/EE/Instrumentation/ECE/ Computer Science) plus 2 years of relevant experience. OR MSc (Physics/Applied Physics/Electronics) plus 1 year of relevant experience.
Desirable: i. Experience in running basic experiments teaching laboratory. ii. Operating and maintaining at least one high end R&D equipment. iii. Proficient in instrumentation, Lab view, and python. iv. Experience in Linux operating system, Linux system administration, basics of computer networks, managing HPC and other hardware related stuff.
48. Junior Library Information Assistant
Essential: i. First class Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library & information Science with from a recognized University. ii. At least 1 year of professional experience in a Library in CFTI/State/Autonomous or statuary organization/PSU/University or recognized research or educational Institution. iii. Need to work shift duties.
Desirable: i. PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking/ PG Diploma Computer Applications in Library or equivalent. ii. Knowledge of the ILMS and the understanding of evolving Information and Communication Technologies relevant to libraries. Note: The appointee in the post is expected to perform his/her duties in shifts as per the Institute’s requirements.

Application Fee: 

Rs, 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). The candidate applying for more than one post shall pay a fee of Rs 500/- per post separately.
Candidates eligible for reservation under Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), EWS and Women candidates are exempted from Fee payment.
