NRCB Trichy Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| Essential Qualification: First class in M.Sc. (Ag.) specialized in Plant Physiology or Soil Science or Agronomy / M.E. (Agricultural Engineering) or M.Tech. specialized in IoT / M.Sc. (Biochemistry / Plant Sciences / Master Degree in relevant subjects with 4 / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree) Desirable: 1. Ph.D. in above said disciplines 2. Worked on IoT related projects 3. Worked in precision farming |
| Note : 1. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET (conducted by UGC / CSIR / ICAR-ASRB) qualifications and 2 years of research experience in Plant Physiology / Biochemistry areas 2. Those who applied for the above post in response to the previous advertisement No.22/2023 (F.No.9(265)/2023/Estt./ dated 03.08.2023) need not apply again and the application received earlier will be considered for this advertisement also. |
Age Limit:
| Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women for Senior Research Fellow. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per rules. |
Fellowship (as per ICAR guidelines):
| Rs.31,000/- + 18% HRA per month for first two years Rs.35,000/- + 18% HRA per month from third year onwards |
