UPSC AEE & Technical Officer Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
1. Assistant
Editor (Telugu) - Educational: (i) Degree of a recognized
University (ii) Degree or Diploma in Librarianship of a recognized University or
Institution. Note-Qualification relaxable at the Commission’s discretion in
case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience: (i) About 5 years’ practical experience in a responsible capacity in a
library of standing. (ii) Proficiency in Telugu language. |
2. Photographic
Officer - Educational:-Degree from a recognised university. Note:- Qualifications are
relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for
reasons to be recording in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well
qualified. Experience:-Two years’ experience in various branches of photography including
experience in Press Photography in an organisation in the field of Print or
Audio-Visual Media. Desirable: i) Diploma in Photography or Motion PicturePhotography (Cinematography)
from a recognised institution ii) One year’s experience in production of documentary films. iii) One year’s experience in write-ups on photographic features,
published in various magazines. |
3. Scientist
‘B’ (Toxicology) - Educational:- (i) Master’s
Degree in Chemistry/AIC by
examination/Biochemistry/Pharmacology/Pharmacy/Forensic Science and (ii)
Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of the subject from a
recognized University or Institute. Experience:- Three years
experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of
Toxicology in any Central Government or State Government organization or
recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the
Central or State Government. Desirable:- Experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory. NOTE: The
Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service
Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates
otherwise well qualified. |
4. Technical
Officer (Public Health Engineering) - Educational:- (i) Degree in
Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Public Health Engineering
from a recognized University or Institute or passed Section A and B
examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil Engineering.
(ii) Post Graduate degree in Public Health Engineering or Environmental
Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Experience:- One year
experience in Public health engineering or environmental engineering or
municipal services including investigation, design, construction, operation
and maintenance of water supply or drainage or solid waste management and
sewerage installations. |
5. Driller-in-Charge
- Educational:- i) Degree in
Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering/ Petroleum
Engineering from a University recognized by Government of India, Ministry of
Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education,
University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State
Government; (ii) One year experience in operation and maintenance of drilling
rigs; OR (i) Diploma in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical /Petroleum
Engineering from a University recognized by Government of India, Ministry of
Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education,
University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State
Government; (ii) Five years experience in operation and maintenance of
drilling rigs |
6. Deputy
Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical) - Educational:- Degree in
Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or pass in
Section A and Section B of the Associate Membership Examination in Mechanical
Engineering branch from Institution of Engineers (India). Note: Only those
candidates who were enrolled for Associate Member of Institution of Engineers
(AMIE) up to 31.05.2013 are eligible for consideration to the post of Deputy
Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical) (Direct Recruitment) and the candidates
who have enrolled on or after 01.06.2013 for AMIE are not eligible for
consideration to the post of Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical)
(Direct Recruitment). Experience:- Ten years’
professional experience in Industrial Installation or engineering workshop
(including at least two years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering in direct
relation to plant and equipment used in mining). Desirable:- Post-Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized
University /Institution. |
7. Assistant
Executive Engineer (Electronics) - Educational:- (i) Degree in
Telecommunications/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communications
Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent* *IETE (Institute of
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) and Section A & B of the
Institution of Engineers (India) (All those students who are enrolled with
the Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be
eligible.) Experience:- Two years
experience in supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation. Desirable:- Two years experience in generation, supply and transmission of power
with experience in lighting small motors and wiring. |
8. System
Analyst - Educational:- Master’s
Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc. Computer Science or M.Sc.
Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute; OR Bachelor
of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer
Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or
Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute. Experience:- Three years
post qualification experience in actual software development using PHP or
JAVA or ASP.Net and having experience in database such as MYSQL or SQL or
ORACLE or POSTGRES data base in a Government Office or Public Sector
Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous organization or from any recognized
Institution. |
9. Senior
Lecturer (General Medicine) - Educational:- (i) A basic
University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered
in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.D.( Medicine)/
M.D.( General Medicine) from a recognized University/ Institution or
equivalent. Experience:- Three years’
teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate
qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in
a Recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution. |
10. Senior
Lecturer (General Surgery) - Educational:- (i) A basic
University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered
in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.S.( Surgery)/
M.S.( General Surgery) from a recognized University/ Institution or
equivalent. Experience:- Three years’
teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate
qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in
a Recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution. |
11. Senior
Lecturer (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases) - Educational:- (i) A basic
University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules
to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered
in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii)
M.D.(Tuberculosis)/ M.D.(T.B. and Respiratory Diseases)/ M.D. (Medicine) with
T.D.D., D.T.D., or D.T.C.D./ M.D.(T.B. and chest Diseases) from a recognized
University/ Institution or equivalent. Experience:- Three years’
teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate

Fee/Exam Fee for UPSC AEE & Technical Officer:
(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty
five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or
by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit
card. (b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No
"fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and
they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and
summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be
entertained. (d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can
the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. |
