OPAL Executive Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:  

1. U & O Operations - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Engineering degree in Chemical engineering/Mechanical Engineering with hands on experience in Utilities Operations (DM water, Nitrogen, compressed Air, raw water, cooling towers, Primary/Secondary/Tertiary treatment – HRSCC, UF/RO, Sludge Handling etc.) in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or related Industries, etc. for a large organization of repute. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in large sized Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 01 Year

2. Corrosion & Inspection - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Engineering degree in Mechanical or metallurgical Engineering with experience in relevant field. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or ralated Industries will be given preference. Certification in API 510/570/653,CSWIP,AWS, NACE certification in corrosion management is preferred, qualification in level 2 in MPI/UT/RT is required, level 3 is preferred. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 15 Years

3. Rotating Equipment - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in managing and maintaining Rotating Equipment. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 06 Years

4. Power Electronics - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Power Electronics with experience in relevant field. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 09 Years

5. Civil Maintenance - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor engineering degree in Civil engineering with hands on experience in Civil / Construction for a large organisation of repute. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 01 Year

6. Fire - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor degree in Fire Engineering with hands on experience in Fire department. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 18 Years OR Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 06 Years

7. Legal - Desired Qualification & Experience: Graduate with a Degree in Law OR 5 years integrated degree in Law from reputed university duly recognized by Bar Council of India with hands-on experience in relevant field. Candidates with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertiliser or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 18 Years OR Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 15 Years

8. Information Technology - Desired Qualification & Experience: Bachelor Engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics & Telecommunications or Masters of Computer Application (MCA) with hands on experience in IT Security. Any one certification on CompTIA Security+ / CCNA Security / Certified Ethical Hacker / CISA / CISSP is mandatory. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertilizer or related Industries will be given preference Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 06 Years

9. SAP - Desired Qualification & Experience: SAP PP/PM (Production Planning & Plant Maintenance) : Bachelor of Engineering degree with experience in PP/QM/PM area. Certification of SAP in PP/QM/PM will have an added advantage. Candidates with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertilizer or related Industries will be given preference. SAP FI & CO : CA/ICWA OR MBA Finance with hands-on experience in SAP FI & CO. Certification of SAP in FI / CO will have an added advantage. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertilizer or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 01 Year

10. Security - Desired Qualification & Experience: Graduate Degree with experience as commissioned officer in armed forces / Central Police Organizations / Security Management in Large size organisation. Candidates meeting the criteria and having additional 5 years experience in Supervisory grade may also apply. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Fertilizer or related Industries will be given preference. Post Qualification Experience (In Executive Level): Min. 09 Years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
