ICMR-NIV Project Technician Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:
|
1. Project
Scientist-B (Medical/Non- Medical) - For Medical
:- - MBBS degree with one year Research/Teaching experience OR - MD in Preventive Social Medicine/ Microbiology / Pathology For Non-Medical
:- - 1 st class Masters Degree in Health/Life Science Specialization
required-Public Health / Epidemiology / Virology/Health Science/Public System
Management / Healthcare Management/Health Information Management /Hospital
Administration / Nursing / Psychology / Microbiology/
Biotechnology/Bioinformatics - Two years experience in related field OR - 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D. in any of the subjects mentioned
above under specialization required OR - BDS/BVSc degree with one year experience Desirable
Qualification for both (Medical and Non-Medical): - Masters degree in Public Health/Epidemiology - Experience in carrying out field activities and conducting field
visits - Ability to coordinate with research teams |

2. Project
Technical Support-II - - Graduate in Health Sciences-
Specialization required Public Health/ Health Information Management/
Hospital Administration/Nursing - Three years work experience OR - Master’s Degree in above subjects Desirable
Qualification: - Knowledge of Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Power Point - Data management and data analysis - Communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders - Knowledge of local language - Previous experience of working with healthcare systems |

3. Project
Technician-II (Field Assistant) - - SSC or equivalent with five years experience working with health
system from a Government institution or recognized institution. * Intermediate (HSC with science
subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years
experience. Desirable
Qualification: - Communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders - Knowledge of local language - Previous experience of working with healthcare system. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

candidates possessing the aforementioned Essential Qualification only may
appear for Walk-in-Interview in the Institute with all Original and
self-attested copies of all certificate/testimonials and valid identity proof
(Voter ID card/ PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card) and one passport
size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview without
the Original Certificates.
