SERC Chennai Project Associate Eligibility Criteria:
Educational
Qualification:

1. Project
Associate I - Essential: B.E / B.Tech (CM / Mechanical Engineering) from recognized University
/ Institute or its equivalent. Desirable: (i) B.E / B.Tech (Civil /
Mechanical Engineering) with First Class from recognized University /
Institute or equivalent and (ii) Valid GATE Score |

2. Project
Associate II - Essential: (i) B.E / B.Tech (Civil / Mechanical Engineering) from recognized
University / Institute or equivalent; and (ii) 2 years of experience M
R&D M Industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organisations and
scientific activities and services. Desirable: (i) M.E / M.Tech/ M.S. (Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering)
from recognized University / Institute or equivalent with First Class in
Graduate degree and (ii). GATE Score |

Salary Details:

1. Project
Associate I - (i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to
Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC
NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A
Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. OR (ii) Rs. 25,000,
+ HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above |

2. Project
Associate II - (i) Rs. 35,000/- + HRA to
Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC
NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A
Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. OR (ii) Rs.
28,000, + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above |
